OK MOST times.
My mind is in the gutter.
I'd like to claim title now, I'm gutterlicious.
You may call me Stacie Gutterlicious.
'Cause I am.
Gutterlicious.
Except, there are times, when I shouldn't take that slippery ride down the gutter.
With my parents, would be one time.
With the kids, another time to not slip and slide.
I learned last night that another time to NOT "go there" is with the hired help.
In fact, the title "hired help" has me licking the gutter dripping from my fingers.
(see?)
I've hired help to finish the few items that STBE refuses to fix and HAS not finished in say the last FIVE years we've been in the house.
May I say that the hired help is a cutie, with a nice patootie.
Anyway.
Hired Help calls yesterday to say he can come to my house *snicker* Friday to work on the trim and stripping in the basement.
*chirp
I get the list of items he needs from Menard's and make my way to the store, returning the wrong items and getting what he really needs.
*ahem*
"I'll be up til 'bout midnight, if you need help at Menard's just call me" He says.
*blink
So, I am standing in the aisle of closet organizers. Trying to decide which kind and of course they have NOTHING in the length he's requested.
*cough*
"Hi, Hired Help, this is Stacie Gutterlicious. They don't have a pole long enough for the closet, but I see wire things that are also too long, but are poleless (much like me). Can they be cut to size? And do you think I should get the pole or just go with these?"
*giggle*
"Thanks, Hired Help. I think I will get the really long pole since you can cut it down to the size you want. Sorry to bother you."
Poles are fun.
Speaking of
Hired help, poles, size, it's all just too guttery fun.
However, I don't know this guy and therefore, it's not kosher to be making jokes about poles.
I'll just leave his fee on the nightstand.

I like Stacie Gutterlicious.
ReplyDeleteI am so in the gutter with you, lol. Going to vote.
ReplyDeleteI laughed so many times... You could mount the extra pole in your room and practice your pole dancing routing. Maybe he can help you mount it. Or is it the other way around?
ReplyDeleteLOL! The original Stacie Gutterlicious. You had me laughing to the start of the weekend. Have a wonderful weekend. :)
ReplyDeletethen just call me StacY Gutterlicious because I too go there...a lot
ReplyDeleteOh, I see you've rearranged your bloginess...I like...
ReplyDeleteI sooo need to make a 'button' for my blog...all the cool kids are doin it.
Ha! I love it! I mean who doesn't go all gutter when stuff like that is involved? There's a rule, I am pretty sure.
ReplyDeleteI live in the gutter. Thanks for keeping me company.
ReplyDeleteGirl, you so funny.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to Gutterville, population Stacy, but really if any of your followers are reading they are there too. :)
ReplyDeleteHired help? Is that the same as GSI? (Get Someone In as opposed to DIY). I would love it if someone did my DIY for me. Let me know...
ReplyDeleteI wanna see a pic of this cutie patootie!
ReplyDeleteand don't act like you haven't snapped one, Gutterlicious.
I think were related. Oh remind me to share with you the time I offered to measure someone for a jock strap, of course unknowningly...lol.
ReplyDeleteWhat's the hired help gonna do with that pole? I mean where's he gonna put it? Dammit Stacie, you dragged me into the gutter with you! Can the hired help handle the extra work?
ReplyDeleteYou are frickin hilarious......I like the alter ego too..
ReplyDeleteHired help is a PAIN. Mine was not so cute...I'm jealous you have that!
Your gutterliciousness is one of the many reasons why I adore you. And if the hired help doesn't fantasize about seducing his boss lady then he must be gay. In which case, you will need to find another pole but your closets will be FAB.
ReplyDeleteI think hired help is going to be mad that you called him that. Let's stay in the gutter. The water is fine.
ReplyDeleteIt gets lonely in the gutter...thanks for joining me:)
ReplyDeleteLOL. Love the name. I might be gutterlicious also but I might need a more manly gutterlicious name.
