Enough with the Loss

Three celebs in one week...

though this doesn't really rank up to the loss their family and friends are feeling...

but...

My company just let two people go today.

Thank GOD I still have my job.

HOWEVER...

pay cut starting July 1st.

fuck.


What? yes. Silver lining.

I'm not dead.

I'm still employed.

Yeah. OK. It's all good.

Let's hope that this weekend will make up for it all.

Cause, y'all, I'm going to a GREAT REUNION this weekend. I can't wait, I hope it gives me lots to blog about ;). It might just start with, this one time...at band camp...or not...

Friday Frenzy.

Friday friday friday, thank goodness for weekends.

It has just been one of those weeks at work. I messed up on the OWNERS stuff. I mean, really, the OWNERS? It would be so much better if it was just my BOSS...but the OWNER, he is the boss of all bosses. UGH.

It should be interesting, he is in the office on Monday for the holidays and our office party. I am sure it is going to be an awkward few minutes. In where I will apologize profusely, no matter how much defense I have for what happen. When it comes to the OWNER there are no excuses good enough. SO I will keep my mouth shut except for the occasional "sorry" and "whatever you need me to do" comments.

In actuality, the error made me refocus here at work, make some "to do" lists and get things organized and on track here on the work front. I also have done this for the Christmas stuff coming up.

Just having the list really helps me stay on track. So it is a good thing, sure wish I would have done it WITHOUT messing up, but live and learn. ;)

I hope all of you are making your lists and checking them twice.

Thursday lashings.

I got in a little trouble at work yesterday...so I guess this really should be Wednesday lashings.

So today, I am buckling down at work, getting things done, making all kinds of lists, and trying to make up for the mess I created.

As if my life isn't messy enough, I don't need to create a mess of my working life too. I love my job, I don't know what I would do without my job. I am pretty sure that I am no where NEAR close to being let go or anything, but I am not going to take a chance.

I am going to be a good employee and keep this short.
