Resolutions Part Duex.

As some of you may know...a few years ago, I joined Weight Watchers.  It took me about 7 or 8 months to lose close to 30 lbs.  I have since kept that weight off, except for a really annoying yo-yo of 5 lbs or so.

I put on the 5, I take it off, put it on, take it off.  I've had it with myself.  It's mental.  I'm mental. ;)

So, I vow.  I want to take off the 5 and another 5. ...so 10 (in case you suck at math...as much as I suck and keeping that 5 stupid lbs off for good) total.  I want to lose 10 lbs.  Do you hear me flabby tummy?

Here's where I need your help...when I do lose that 10, and I will.  I will lose that 10 (eventually).  When I lose it, I will be at my lowest weight...um, since maybe birth.

My driver's license will still read 5 lbs heavier when I lose this 10 lbs, which means, even at age 16 I was not that small.

So...(back on point of where I will need you)...when I get to that point...and I start whining about needing to lose more weight....SLAP THE SHIT OUT OF ME.  MMK?

Here is where weight watchers SAYS my range of weight should be...."Your healthy weight range is 113 to 141 lbs."

I will not be 113 after this 10 lbs......so don't let me talk myself into thinking that 113 would look good on me...cause I'm not real sure that it would...and I really don't want to purchase all new clothes to fit a 113 lbs.

Cancer 2011 Horoscope - A Fabulous Year of Personal Growth

HAPPY NEW YEAR'S EVE!!!

Cancer 2011 Horoscope - A Fabulous Year of Personal Growth

This is an exciting time to be a Cancer! The Cancer 2011 yearly horoscope shows that life will seem full of mystery and intrigue for sweet and sensitive Cancer. Although things may move a little too slow for your taste, Cancer 2011 will bring an interest in learning, new creativity and grabbing everything life has to offer.

Cancer in 2011

Cancer 2011 Career and Income Horoscope

Cancer, you believe in doing what’s right. That’s why it can be very frustrating when you find yourself on the wrong end of the success ladder. When 2011 kicks off, it will feel like you are on top of the world professionally. The Cancer 2011 yearly horoscope shows that, by the end of the month, trouble will be brewing. When it comes down to it, the rewards are going to go to those who have already invested major time and energy in getting what they want. If you haven’t put in this work, you will struggle to watch others succeed. On one hand, you’ll know it’s only fair. In fact, it’s right that they should succeed. On the other hand, you will struggle to understand why your career seems to have stalled out.

Reevaluate and figure out what you can put in during the down months you will face until June. That way, you’ll feel good about the rewards that will eventually come your way. Don’t worry - this is not to say that 2011 has nothing to offer you. The Cancer 2011 yearly horoscope shows that during the summer, your financial climate still looks good; perhaps just not enough to satisfy what you’d hoped for.

Cancer 2011 Love, Family and Social life Horoscope

The early part of the year could be a trying one. Relationships you’ve been struggling to repair or rejuvenate can easily blow up, all based on one careless word. During this time period, realize that your actions can make a major difference. Be thoughtful with your words and try to exercise patience. Remember, you are not always right. Take the time to listen to your partner and work together to figure out how to meet each other’s needs. An investment in love is mandatory in the earlier parts of the Cancer 2011 calendar year if you want to ensure a harmonious relationship.

Cancer 2011 Education and Traveling Horoscope

The Cancer 2011 yearly horoscope shows that this is an excellent year to take some time and acquire the skills you have always wanted. Since your career seems stagnant, taking that extra initiative will make you feel like you’re on top of your game in spite of slow moving progress. Creativity is at an all time high, so try some of those left brain activities you’ve never had time for. Since life seems so lovely, plan a vacation to enjoy all of its spoils, preferably with a loved one. If you plan travel with your mate, plan the major decisions together.

Cancer 2011 Health Horoscope

Always emotional, the Cancer is often his own worst enemy in the health department. As the Cancer 2011 yearly horoscope shows that 2011 is bringing good and positive emotions, health should remain strong as stress will remain low. As always, get enough rest and feel free to baby yourself on those days that seem like too much to handle.

Drum roll please....*bbbbrrrrrrrr*

The Santa Gourd that I took for the white elephant party...

Ironically this is my 666, post...straight to hell with me...

and for those of you that didn't know what a white elephant party was...here is what wikipedia says...

Gameplay
Gifts are typically inexpensive, humorous items, or used items from home; the term white elephant refers to a gift whose maintenance cost exceeds its usefulness. While the first use of this term remains an item of contention among historians[1], a popular theory suggests that Ezra Cornell brought the term into popular lexicon through his numerous and frequent social gatherings, dating back to as early as 1828.[2][3]

All participants draw a number (from a hat, perhaps) to determine their order. An alternative to the drawing is to sit in a circle and take turns in a clockwise or counterclockwise direction.

The participant with #1 unwraps any gift from the pile and then shows it to everyone. Each successive participant, in the order determined from the drawing, or in clockwise or counterclockwise order, can either 1) "steal" an already opened gift (if there's one they really like) or 2) be adventurous and go for a wrapped gift from the pile. If the participant chooses to steal, the person whose gift is stolen now repeats his turn and either 1) steals another person's gift (he cannot immediately steal back the gift that was just stolen from him) or 2) unwraps a new gift.

This cycle of stealing can sometimes continue for a long time, until a new gift is chosen, at which point the turn is passed to the participant with the next number from the drawing, or whoever is next in the circle, whichever arrangement is chosen.

Since items can be stolen, the item in your possession is not yours until the game is over. However, this is often amended with a rule declaring a gift "dead" or "safe" after it has been stolen a certain number of times (usually three). This helps the process go more smoothly (avoiding, for example, the hypothetical scenario of the same gift being stolen by every successive participant) and limits the disadvantage of being among the first to choose gifts. The game is over once all numbers have been withdrawn from the hat or all gifts are opened.

Let's just say that it was a blast...and my friend that REALLY didn't WANT my Santa gourd did end up with it, but he conveniently left it for the host...a hostess with the mostest gift, if you will. :)

Best of 2009

5 days into the new year and I'm already searching for topics????

I've seen a few other bloggers do this...and I'm following.

Ready? Best of Stacie's Madness 09 edition.

January...hmmm this is difficult because last year January was pretty dark...but there were disney posts...so I think I will copy and paste something that made me laugh after I read it. This is from the Epcot post.

"In each area they had a showcase of "Holiday Storytellers: Listen to legendary holiday folklore from around the world as told at the World Showcase by the legends themselves, including France's Père Noël, Italy's LaBefana and America's Santa Claus."
As we approached France, we saw him! Père Noël!! He was skinny, Buggy pulled on my hand and said, "Their Santa needs to eat some cookies!" Père Noël turned around and said, "Last year they said I was too fat, this year they want to fatten me up..." and I am sure I heard him mumble something about dumb Americans in a really heavy French accent as he threw his cigarette to the ground."

:)

February...the start of You Capture at Beth's blog...and I love these photos of Bubbarooski...and other than discussing my mom's divorce and my pending (took way to long) divorce, not much new or exciting there.

March - oh whoa, put the house on the market with Mr. Miata and my erotic exercise post...one thing is, I've never strayed from being a dirty minded person...and I love it. :)

April- roflmao...oh yes, Sir Bo shits a lot...there isn't really much I miss about that dog...actually I don't miss him at all...especially all the shitting he did. April 7th holds many monumetal occasions for me...

May - Mother's Day yo...and a really sappy post about MY mother and another. Oh and the month that I battled the damn weed whacker.

June- I offered you ladies a very important public (er, pubic) announcement. Which reminds me, I better mark my calendar to let it grow in early march so that by the time may gets here, I won't be denied. *whew* The dog had his ass chewed, and there was the vet visit. *sigh* good times, yep STILL not missing the dog.

July - I use to acknowledge awards, apparantly, not that I don't acknowledge them now, I just forget to, if you've awarded me anything lately, THANK YOU. ;) I "met" Jay Cutler...'nuff said...

August - OOOH BUFFET CONCERT TIME...and pictures to boot. Almost as good, ok maybe even better than Buffet...was THE OFFER TO BUY THE HOUSE WAS ACCEPTED...AND friggen August will now be deemed the best month of 2009...cause I met the most wonderful people...MIDWEST MOMMY and MIDWEST DADDY. :)

September- closed on my house!!! I was officially divorced!!!

October - seriously i love every single post in october so if you're really bored, or curious...check it...

November - shared picture of my mad carving skillz and of course this is a favorite...MINE.

December - classic bubba. Meeting Porky was fun.

Anyway, those are a few of my bests...or at least my favorites from 2009. Enjoy and hopefully you'll read something new about me. :D

Santa Gourd

Hello my pretties, how is everyone?

Did you all have a wonderful New Year's?

I did!

There was some internal struggles due to friends and who to spend NYE with, but I made a decision and I will not go back to dwell on it. I do not regret where I spent NYE and that is that. I am, however, a little disappointed in some long time friends.

OTHERWISE, my NYE was LITERALLY a F*cking BLAST!

One I won't soon forget. :D

New Years day was a pretty chill day, lots of wii, lots of laying around, visited briefly with another friend...and that was it.

Saturday I went to a while elephant party, my first, you can say I was a virgin to the white elephant...I mean you CAN SAY THAT BUT SURE SOUNDS SICK...right? Unless you want to call....eh, never mind.

I thought and thought about what I could take...(and now I am trying to recall if any family members read this here blog...nope I don't think they do...I shall continue this story)...then New Year's Day, I woke and poof the gift came to mind.

My gramma, bless her heart, has a hobby. It's painting. She paints, paintings and the random gourd here and there.

I know, I know for real? A gourd. Yes. For real.

It's really not the gourd though that makes this story so bad, it's the painting. (oh, man, I will go to hell for this...thinks again if there any family members reading...*panic*)

Her scenic paintings are off, in scale, in perspective, etc. They don't match my decor at all. Christmas Eve we were at her house, she says, "Stacie, if there are any paintings you want for your new home, just let me know."

Shit.

I thanked her and went about the conversation the others were having. THEN she takes us into her painting room and continues to push paintings on me. What was I going to do? I had to take one.

On my way home, I giggled thinking about the upcoming White Elephant party, then quickly felt guilty about getting rid of the painting so soon after it was gifted to me.

Days went by, when it hit me. I wish I had gotten one last picture of this gourd she gave me several years ago. (Jess if you're reading, I'd love a picture of it, for shits and giggles)

It was a gourd...painted as Santa. This year when I put it out, I cringed. The kids loved that thing, I detested it. I put it inside of a cabinet that houses my stereo. That way, it could be hidden, yet in sight if the stereo was in use.

New Years morning I had the aha moment, the Santa gourd would be my item for the white elephant. It was a perfect white elephant gift.

Gramma never comes to my house on Christmas anyway, she'll never know the difference. :)

That gourd better not be in hell with me.

I just jinxed myself, didn't I? Dammit.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Usually, I will make a resolution, but not say what it is just in case I don't follow through. ;) I did stop smoking before and succeeded for a while (years)...that counts. Totally. I am not sure I will make any this year...and if I do, I'm not telling YOU. :)

3. How will you be spending New Year's Eve? ... now that I'm like 25...I am stayin in, either at a friends or at my house. I don't want to be out on the roads. I will have Bubba, Buggy will be with her dad.

6. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009? ... more vacations.

7. What date from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? ... I am horrible at remembering dates. Honestly, I can't tell you the date of either of my weddings...(with so many, how can one keep track?) and now those marriages are over...so why bother remembering...anyways....this year 2009, I will remember a date in September(ish) when my divorce was final and I closed on my own house.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? ... Hello???? Is this thing on??? MOVING ON, BUYING MY HOUSE...etc.

9. What was your biggest failure? ... Sadly, I did get ANOTHER divorce and if I think to hard about it, that is a failure. HOWEVER, it was the right thing for me to do, for me and for the kids...hopefully one day, he will see it as the same.

15. What do you wish you'd done less of? .... stress.

16. What was your favourite TV program? ...too many to list.

17. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? ... I don't have time to hate.

18. What was the best book you read? ... Twilight Series...but honestly, that's all I remember reading all year. LOL I am sure I read more, but I don't remember.

19. What was your greatest musical discovery? ... I rock, but that's nothing new

20. What was your favorite film of this year? ... uh...New Moon. :D

21. What did you do on your birthday? ... let's see...hmmmm. haha. I don't remember, I need to go see if I blogged about it.
OK, looked back, I didn't do a darn thing...hmmm. I didn't even have a cake...??? However, I did put together two ice cream sandwiches, stuck candles in 'em and made the kids sing to me. :)

Birthday Candles

22. What kept you sane? ... FRIENDS

23. Who did you miss? ... ? I've missed my mom since she moved.

24. Who was the best new person you met? ... I don't think I met anyone new...perse...I did meet Porky...but more importantly, I think I rediscovered ME...

25. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2009: ... I can and will do anything that I put my mind to (look out Mathew McConaughey, Imma do you next), my gut is 98% correct, and that I wouldn't be where I am now if I didn't go through the trials and tribulations that I've gone through. I like me...that's not something that I could always say.

My 2010 year in review HOROSCOPE.....*eee*

Cancer
6/22 – 7/22
Year 2010 Overview
One thing that all Crabs (astrological Cancers or the seafood type of crab) know deep in their hearts is that someone, somewhere out there knows how great it would be to bust them wide open and eat them with melted butter. (WHAT????)

The big news for you this year, Cancer, is that Pluto has moved into your Seventh House, which rules marriage, partnerships and close relationships. This means that someone may very well be cracking your heart open in the next year.

(PANIC ATTACK)

Cancer has a bit of a reputation for enjoying doom and gloom. You don't. You just seem to get more than your fair share of it. It must be that thick shell of yours. Everyone assumes you can just take it.

The good news is that you earned that reputation because you can take it, and more. And often, your greatest moments come when you have overcome the greatest obstacles. Thankfully, the roadblocks you face in 2010 won't be that devastating, but they'll certainly give you an opportunity to shine. New support and new energy will be entering your life from unexpected and overlooked people and things, and you'll be able to soar above it all!

Isn't that just the best horoscope EVER???? wow. Now I'm ready, come on 2010, BRING IT.

More from Astrology.com

I out of here, hope you all have a safe and wonderful New Years.

He said, She said

SO, you know I am not here... :D can I rub that in anymore?

Before I left for vacation a friend and I were discussing resentments and getting "rid" of them...then the topic of '09 came up.

I said, I am going to be FINE in '09...which I must admit, isn't all that creative.

So he started come up with some ideas of his own...

He said:
I'm going to eat a lot of swine in 09

She said:
roflmao. pork, the other white meat.

He said:
I'm going to squeal like a swine in 09

She said:
oh yeah? I want details of that squealing

He said:
I will cross the line in 09

She said:
again, don't leave any details out.

He said:
I'm not gonna whine in 09

She said:
amen to that, me neither (might make for boring blogs in 09)

He said:
I'm gonna drink a lot of wine in 09

She said:
eh, if you like wine, ok.

He said:
Devine in '09

She said:
that one I like and I might steal. *looks around innocently* :D

She said:
My life is MINE in '09 (I am a creative one, no? lmao)

He said:
I want to pet a porcupine in '09

She said:
careful buddy and um, get her a razor for Christmas ;)

So what is your "motto" for 2009?

Best one gets a gift. SERIOUSLY! (gotta regift some things from this year, you could be the lucky winner of one of my regifts. hint: Mrs. Claus must have become a Pampered Chef consultant this year)
