Well Stacie is my idol anyways.
For those of you just joining us...Your regularly scheduled beautiful Stacie will not be airing on this blog today. Instead, it is Mr. FF.
I finally got to talk to her last night and told her all of her loyal readers dearly miss her.
***STACIE UPDATE*** Stacie is doing ok on her vacation. It was cool and rainy yesterday and her and the kids were not able to go swimming. So she met up with a friend and they all went to a museum. That's all I will say about that. I will save the details for her to tell you.

There is my Baby...I miss her to death!!!! As much as I love seeing her in that Cubs shirt, I would love to see her out of it. Oh Whoa, I almost forgot to keep it clean. Oops.
So, in tribute to Stacie and out of respect for Stacie, I will give you MY review of American Idol last night. **WARNING** I am not as kind as her, and last night was like a vacuum convention.....IT SUCKED!!!
*Disclaimer* I am not, nor do I proclaim to be a musician, a music critic, a music writer, a music agent, a musicians roadie, a musicians groupie, a musicians cook, a musicians pilot, a musicians maid, a musicians gardener, or a musicians hair stylist. In fact, if I were born deaf, I probably wouldn't even enjoy music. hmmmm?
Crystal Bowersox: There were a couple of exceptions to the lack of any talent whatsoever last night, and none bigger than our girl Crystal. As Randy Jackson would say, "she was hot". As she stood on her plush carpet (what?) Crystal belted out Janis Joplin's "me and Bobby McGee". After previous weeks of seeming almost disinterested with the competition, Crystal performed with the enthusiasm and soul required to remove any doubt that she is the one to beat (yeaaaah).
Lee Dewyze: Lee was my second favorite of the night. Singing "The Letter", he lost his guitar, came out of his shell, and showed a hint of personality. Although this wasn't his best vocal performance, to me, it was his best overall performance. My advice to Lee if this Idol thing doesn't work out, do not make an attempt at "so you think you can dance".
Casey James: Casey is normally one of my favorites, but I don't think God himself could make Huey Lewis and the news "Power Of Love" sound good. That song wasn't good in the 80's when it came out, and it certainly isn't any good now. Terrible song choice. Casey tried his best to make it work, but that's like planting flowers on a landfill.
Siobhan Magnus: If Siobhan wasn't already weird enough, I spent the majority of the 3and a half minutes she sang Stevie Wonder's "Superstitious" trying to figure out what the hell she did to her hair. So I guess it was ok. Although there are times I do enjoy a woman screaming (that's what I said), it's getting old real fast.
Michael Lynche: Although the vocals were pretty good, Rudy had to wake me up after Mike's boring rendition of "when a Man Loves a Woman" was over. Also, I do like to see a little confidence and some arrogance, Mike has become a little to cocky for me. Confucius always says, man who has hole in pocket....feels cocky all day.
Aaron Kelly: Chicken Little II claimed to have laryngitis. It's called puberty!!! HELLOOOO, you're not fooling me. Normally I dread hearing him, and much more, I have to turn away from the TV cause I can't stand watching him. last night he was actually pretty decent. Maybe it was the song choice with "don't wanna miss a thing". I really like that song, and thought he did ok.
Andrew Garcia: I did hold the same opinion with Andrew as everyone else. I sit in anticipation every week hoping he is going to pull another brilliant performance out of the blue. After last night, I have given up. He is officially on my "you suck" list.
Katie Stevens: I have good news and bad news for Katie. The good news is, her performance last night didn't suck as bad as all of her other performances. The bad news is, all of her other performances sucked really BAD!!!
Didi Benami: I'm not even sure what the hell was goin on here. I started to get that odd feeling that I was watching TV at 3:00 in the morning, a commercial was on, and at any moment Didi was going to look into the camera and say "me and my friends can't wait for you to call 1-900-you're-no-good".
Tim Urban: Just when I thought David Cassidy couldn't get any worse than last weeks "Under the Sea" from the Little Mermaid...he got worse. I thought that when he did his slide, it would have really enhanced his performance if his pants ripped. I mean, if you're going to continue to get votes based on your looks, you may as well show the little girlies your junk.
Paige Miles: Lets just say Helen Keller sings better than Paige. Luckily, I was interrupted during Paige's butchering of "Against All Odds" due to Rudy riffling through the drawer to get a knife so he could slit his wrists...er upper dog paws...or wherever a dog would slice in order to off themselves during times of severe torture.
So there you have my recap.
My prediction: It's time to turn the "Paige". If she is not gone tonight...Rudy and I will be watching next week with matching cutlery.
