I'm whiney..I'm annoying myself...

It's why I didn't post yesterday.

I'm being a whiney miserable brat.

Just sayin.

I need to use 1,2,3 magic on my own whiney ass.

So...let's talk about something happy, shall we?

(What's this about the world ending??  )

((That's about as happy as the whole "you're entering puberty" crap.))

This weekend we are heading to Indianapolis for the Cystic Fibrosis walk.  I am excited about it.  The other half of the Brady's aren't going with us :(.  They were, then they weren't.

Poor Mr.FF is "stuck" in Florida for work.  The plane won't be returning until Sunday so at some point he will be having some down time in the Keys.

I know.  Hard to feel sorry for him, isn't it?  Boo Hoo.

He doesn't feel too sorry for himself either.

I'd like to be "stuck" in the Keys.  I'd like to be stuck with my toes in the sand sipping on a girly fruity drink.

Pina Colado to be exact.

*day dreams a minute*

(See??  See why I'm whiney?)

Back to topic...After Burger's baseball game tomorrow morning, Bubba, Buggy and I will set on our way.  The hotel we are staying at has a water park for the kids.  I might throw caution to the wind and go down (what) a few slides myself.

Take that GREY HAIR...you can take my mousey brown hair, but you won't kill my young vibrant heart.

I hope I survive.

I hope they have Pina Coladas there.

We walk.  We walk for a cure.

This is very close to my heart.  It affects my best friend's children.

I have been blessed with healthy kids.

We have the fortune to walk with this family, to support this family and to fight for a cure with them.  Our job is easy compared to theirs.

So donate to the cause....if end of the world is here, then this will be a good "get into heaven" ticket to help you.

See?

Help me help you.
Help me.
Help you.

HOLY CATS.

What's a girl gotta do?

FIVE COMMENTS on yesterday's post????

*knocks on desk*

hello?

ANYONE???

BUELLER?

I have been in a bit of a blogger slump, maybe everyone else is too.

I have been busy lately and not commenting as often as I like.

I BLAME THE WORLD.

No I don't.

Anywho.

"Holy Cats" has anyone heard of this saying? MR.F says it a lot. He says it enough that now my kids say it.

Maybe he has something against cows. Ya know?

Is Holy Cats the same and LOL Cats?

This cat is totally me today due to lack of comments.

lol cats Pictures, Images and Photos

See at the bottom? Catwack.com??? That's funny.

I don't blog for comments, I don't blog for stats. However, the comments do help to keep me blogging.

I blog to get things out of my head. Lately though, my head, isn't as full of madness.

*gasp*

Sure there is schedule madness going on. Sure there is some parenting madness. Nothing though that I feel is so mad to post about.

Add to this, I have no computer at home. Some of my great ideas come to me when I'm on the shitter at home. I've said a million times that I should jot them down and then blog about it the next day, but as the three to four "journals" at home will tell you; I'm full of good intentions.

I am SURE those of you that lurk but don't comment are full of good intentions too.

FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT DO COMMENT.
I love you.
I do.
Wanna make out?

Where am I?

I'm feeling scattered. I hate that feeling. I need to make a list.

This is the final week in our house. It's kinda sad, really. I like this house. We've done a lot of work there. I like the way I had it decorated (upstairs, I wasn't overly fond of the downstairs).

It was a quick five years there, really quick. Yet those five years just feel heavy and I am ready to release them. The house is the last step in that release.

When we moved into the house, I couldn't picture spending the rest of my life in that house. Just never really pictured my future there or in my marriage. Sadly.

I packed all weekend long. Getting rid of crap, packing other crap. I think for the most part, I'm pretty well ready to go and then I think of all the really large items that are going with me and I get panicked again.

boxes Pictures, Images and Photos
(not my house or my picture, but this is what it looks like in my house right now)

Stove, fridge, entertainment center, hell-even my king size bed, it's all so big (that's what she said)...it feels slightly overwhelming.

My body is sore just from carrying boxes this weekend, I imagine I'm going to need a MAJOR massage after the real move.

Plus, living out of suitcases for three weeks has me really stressed. I hope it flies by really fast.

Blah blah blah, whine whine whine, right? (See why I haven't posted much lately? Even Porky is on my ass (he wishes) to post something for his blog.)

So stick around, hopefully soon I will have something funny to post about, but for now, it's scattered, cause I'm scattered.

Negative Nelly *neigh*

I am just really swimming in my own negativity lately. Example:

I started reading a new blog, well her blog isn't new, but it is new to me.

400 Miles Away she has posted a couple times about the lovely weather (she lives somewhere around me), like yesterday and today we have been having a "warm up" and she posted about it feeling almost tropical compared to what we have been experiencing (massive amounts of snow and friggin school cancelling frigid temps). My response was (and I know this is just despicable) "yeah...and all this damn warm-up is causing flash flooding" (paraphrased, cause I said it so I can paraphrase myself).

I mean seriously? Could I be more Debbie Downer (let's have more Debbie does Dallas or somethin happier)?

She is right. It is 28 degrees out right now and it does feel damn nice to go out to smoke and not lose a hand/finger/nose in the process. So KUDOS Mother Nature, thanks for the warm up and sunshine today.

This, though, provokes another negative thought.

So what it is "balmy" right now, by this weekend we are getting the freeze back on.

SERIOUSLY. I need a big fat dose of Happy Juice or something. Anyone? Anyone have some happy juice I can down.

Funny I just said DOWN happy juice.

Another negative party I am hosting is this damn choice I made joining the cult that is Weight Watchers.

(I don't believe it is a cult, I rather like WW and it has been the only thing that truly has worked for me on the losing weight front)

I had this feeling when I first joined Weight Watchers. I was just overly pissed about the change I was forced (needed, whatever) to make in my eating habits. So when I get pissed about change I rebel.

I have fallen into that pattern lately. I see some ice cream, I get pissed because I WANT it and SHOULDN'T have it...so I eat it. Grumbling about this is my life dammit, I'll eat what I want to.

So what do you get when you rebel at Weight Watchers? OH YEAH BABY, there are repercussions.

You get a big fat whopping (now I want Burger King) THREE POUNDS. Crap.

I mean, I knew it. I knew I was rebelling and eating poorly...and I KNEW it was going to show up on the scale. I just couldn't stop myself.

I hate putting a lot of effort into things. I want to SEEM like I am putting in the effort, get the RESULTS of putting in the effort, but I don't ACTUALLY WANT to put in the effort. Make sense?

All these negative thoughts, I am calling myself out on them right now, because they are draining my energy lately.

So here is what I can do with my negative thoughts:

I can change them, spin them, not fool myself into believing the positive, but ACTUALLY know the positive to be true.

Weather:
It is warming up, the sun IS shining. As much as I LOVE the snow, it does go away giving me the beautiful season of SPRING. Spring, new starts, new beginnings, beautiful flowers peaking their heads up from the newly defrosted grown. I love that.

Weight Watchers:
It was MY CHOICE, MINE only. That ALONE is worth celebrating. It has been one of the BEST choices I made FOR MYSELF, with myself...and guess what, I have been successful. I have lost 30 plus pounds. I lost that weight in 7 months of joining. Here I am a YEAR after starting the process...still 30 lbs lighter. Healthier, stronger, etc.

It works, it worked and it will be worked again....and forever.

Monday Blahs...

You all are going to start sending me cheese to go with my whine.

Cause now, not only am I having my monthly, I am sick to boot.

sicky mcsickerton Pictures, Images and Photos

So just to let you know how my weekend was...Friday I went to a jewelry party. I got a necklace for my mom, one for me and some earrings 1/2 off. *shrugs* The party was combined with a girl's poker night. Though the cards never even came out...we had THAT much fun.

Saturday, sick sick sick. I did manage to put the tree up and decorate the house, but never could get the kids to even BATHE and get dressed to take our Christmas pictures.

Sunday...still sick sick, napped most of the day. When I did wake for periods of time, I cooked. The good comfort food that I love on cold days especially when I am sick. I made a whole chicken, which turned into chicken noodle soup, I cooked some of the chicken with taco seasoning for chicken tacos one night this week, and then threw the rest of the chicken in a pan with rice, cream of chicken soup and corn into the oven. Lots oh chicken, but we have dinner now for at least three nights this week, which means, no REAL cooking for me.

So a really laid back weekend, except for the shenanigans on Friday night, which will be locked in my secret memory bank for a very long time...what happens at girl's poker night shall remain at girl's poker night. If I say poker one more time, this might be a dirty post.

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I think I am going to get some napping work done.

OH! That's not very Christmasy

Is Christmasy a word? oh who cares...it is a word here at Stacie's Madness...move forward and use.

I have contemplated a 10 things I hate about YOU list today...but that isn't very festive is it? Not to mention not very nice.

Are you squirming in your seat wondering if the YOU I am referring to is YOU?

Nah, it is none of YOU, my Internetians.

There was this one blog that I liked, but she has stopped blogging (WHY? WHY? MARY COME BACK)she did a post, an I hate it when... post.

So I think I will go that route instead of the HATE YOU post. :D I am not angry at all, why do you ask?

I hate it when I find a good blog and then they quit BLOGGIN...so I guess this hate it when blog IS directed to some of YOU internetians. But that is all, love ya still now get back to bloggin, dammit. :)

I hate it when a blog has music and it scares the crap out of me.

I hate it when Bubs is laying on the couch with his Daddy, but comes into a complete different room to ask ME to get him a drink.

I hate it when the kids know I will get that damn drink a lot quicker than Daddy.

I hate it when my ex hubby (Buggy's Dad) says he will drop Buggy off around 7-8 and then shows up right before 7.

I hate it when I am trying to run errands AND make it home before the around 7 or 8 drop off.

I hate it when I miss above drop off.

I hate it when Hubby folds laundry he doesn't sort it. He folds as it comes out of he dryer, so jeans, undies, shirt, pajamas, etc. All mixed together.

I hate it when I have to put above laundry away. I have to sort it and then put it away. I don't want undies in my damn shirt drawer. Right? Am I right?

I hate it when I have to put laundry away period, but then add the additional time to sort it...grrrr.

*I should be thankful that he does laundry at all, but his lack of sorting negates any nice doing on his part. And shut up it's my blog, I'll bitch if I want to*

I hate it when a coworker takes a dump in the unisex bathroom.

I hate it when said bathroom is only a few doors from my office.

I hate it when they dump, and spray. I can hear the spraying, so now I know you have shit up a storm in there.

I hate it when the air of spray and shit make its way down the hall to my office.

I hate it when I feel like I have inhaled your shit smell laced with vanilla air freshener.

I hate it when the holidays are approaching and I just feel like curling up and ignoring it all.

I hate it when I over think things to death and deplete them of their excitement (ie; Disney trip)

I hate it when I feel so overwhelmed; I start shutting down.

I hate it when I shut down, I don't get a darn thing accomplished which leads to feeling even more overwhelmed. *I need to make a list to get myself back on track*

I hate it when I am in these moods and I spew them all onto my blog.

whine-bitch-hiss

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

well. guilty for not posting all weekend.

I just had a really blah few days. Down. Blue.

I have nothing funny to write about, I have nothing witty to say...just nothing.

We did get our new furniture. Its not nearly as sexy to sit on as I thought it might be. I mean, it is stiff, but not in a sexy way. When I sat, my thoughts didn't go to a warm fire burning, with bearskin rug (fake, cause ya know a real on would gross me out), pure sexiness pouring out of every ..... anyway. Yeah. NO. It was not as I imagined at all!

Hubby and I did NOT get along this weekend at all. He is just so grumpy, unless he is drinking a beer. It is as if beer is his best friend and he when he is hanging out with his best friend, beer, then he is a little softer in his tone. His actions toward us others in the house is nicer. I mean, MAYBE, I would be more happy too if my best friend were over everyday and I could enjoy my time more with Chocolate. But NO! I can't do that. NO because then Chocolate will become bigger thighs and ass and REALLY I can't handle anymore friends than what I have.

Hubby also has been working 12 hour shifts. 7pm-7am. He usually works 6 days a week. He sees us for about 15 minutes each week night (if that)...on Saturday after he sleeps from working all night...and Sunday for most of the day until he has to go nap to head back to work that evening's shift.

So if you are any good at math all that work = no time at home. You would think he would not be so G-d Damn grumpy when he *is* home.

You know the saying absence makes the heart grown fonder? Yeah, not at our house. The less I see of him the more difficult it is when he is around. Resentments en cage me and I can't get out. I know. I know about resentments, I know they eat me away, but it is hard not to let them get to me.

It is hard to see him hide out in the basement doing (jobs that are great, but not the real reason he is down there) whatever he wants with his friend, beer. Anyway, it sucks. And I am OVER this topic. For now.

I had a girls night out this weekend that was desperately trying to pull me out of my funk and for the most part it did. However, Hubby's friend Beer was not my friend that night. It made my stomach turn. My friend laughed that the 3lbs I lost in WW must be the reason that I wasn't handling it too well. Ha. Yeah. Word.

Maybe this is another part of my 2 week PMS ritual...whine whine.

Here...
whine (hwn, wn)

1. To utter a plaintive, high-pitched, protracted sound, as in pain, fear, supplication, or complaint.

v.tr.
To utter with a whine.
n.
1. The act of whining.
2. A whining sound.
3. A complaint uttered in a plaintive tone.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
OH, I am UTTERING... I am uttering a WHINE...
