Small, but Cute (that's what she said)

*old post that never made it on the blog*
This was back in 2009 when we were house searching.
___________________________________________________________________________
So the other night, the kids and I met the realtor to look at the first house. I knew going in that it was an older home and that the house was going to be too small, but I didn't want to NOT see it.

I give the kids the low down on the expected behavior and what will not be tolerated. Ie; no touching other people's things, all questions will be answered but I needed to give as much attention to viewing the house and listening to the realtor as possible.

Both kids sign off on the rules; we pull up to the house.

Buggy cracks me up!

"Cute! Painting is peeling a little and we know, Mom, that YOU don't want to be painting another house anytime soon." She states from the back seat.

Smart daughter!

When we bought the house we are in now, I knew the minute I entered the house that it would be mine. *evil laugh* So I think I am hoping for that to happen to me again, but on a much smaller budget, 20-30 THOUSAND dollars less budget.

We walk up to the front door, all that ran through my mind is CUTE. It really was/is CUTE.

Buggy calls a room "hers", Bubba discusses the people's furniture and decorations, the realtor and I remain quiet.

It was a small (really small like my king size bed won't even fit in the room that was announced mine by Buggy), older home, lots of charm but also in need of updates.

As we were leaving to view the second house of the night, Buggy offers another (f-ing fantastic) observation.

"Hmmm, ok, sidewalks, nice block to walk and ride bikes."

Man, she's good. I told her so, too.

"Very good observations Buggy!"

She goes on, "One bathroom only ?!?! AAAANNNDDD it's upstairs, so if we are watching TV downstairs in the living room then we'd have to go all the way upstairs to go to the bathroom? Hmmm, yeah, I don't think so Mom. Well, let's keep our fingers crossed for the next house."

Her monologue went without breaths. I am really impressed with her thought process though.

Onto the next house...
stay tuned.

Comcast better BRING IT.

A couple of weekends ago, on my retail therapy trip, I purchased a computer for my house.

Can you believe that since I've moved into my new house, almost 2 years ago, I have not had Internet at home?

I've only had access at work or Mr.FF's house.

Excited about my new purchase I called our local telephone carrier and scheduled installation.  I was so excited.  Of course their window of time they'd be at the house sucked balls, so I took a vacation day in order to be home for the guy to come hook me up.

Along with my Internet service, I upgraded my home phone too.  That morning I sat down to reset up my voicemail and heard a message from their service dept.

"Ms.Stacie's Madness, the Internet we offered you is not available in your area, however we have a lower speed one that is available.  At this time we are cancelling your order until we hear back from you on the lower speed."

Awesome.  I called them immediately, explained to them that I wanted Internet at whatever speed they had and asked that they please come that day since I did take a vacation day in order to be there.

I was told they would squeeze me in for that day.

They never showed up.

I called after the estimated end of their work day, ready to cancel the order all together.  The "salesman" was very apologetic, but didn't have a reason for their negligence.  He asked to please reschedule me for the next day.  I stressed that I had a lot going on with the kids' schedules and that the best time for them to come was between 12-2.

Yeah, that's right, I gave THEM a window.  I also stressed to have them please call my cell before they came out so that I could guarantee I'd be there.

11:50 the guy called and left a message on the HOUSE PHONE.

"Hi. Ms. Stacie's Madness.  You are scheduled for hook up between 12-2 today, however seeing as you are not home we will have to reschedule your appointment."

When I arrived home at 12:20, I listened to the voicemail.  No attempt was made to call my cell phone.  I was pissed.  I called their 800 number again.  I explained what happened and told them I was VERY UNHAPPY.  I was PROMISED someone would be out before 5 pm.  I stressed again that I would NOT be home, but if they would call my cell phone first I could be home in 5 minutes.

No call.  No show.

5:45 Saturday, I called and cancelled their services.

Dumbasses.

I called Comcast.  It will be a faster service and they bundled it in with my land line, for LESS than the other company.  I wish I could have been on the call from Comcast to the Shitty Phone Company when they cancelled them in order to rehook up with Comcast.  I am sure they didn't care any, why would they?  THEY lost the customer...I am sure they have MILLIONS more.

Today Comcast is coming out  to hook me up, they better BRING IT.

If they don't, I will have a brand new laptop for sale.

When it rains, it pours..

The weekend was great, even though Bubba was grounded.

6 2 10 110

We set up the little pool that we have.

6 2 10 107
Burger and Buggy.

*sigh* boys and their hose.

6 2 10 103

Burger, almost 8 and Buggy, almost 10 really had a great time playing around together with Bubba out of the way. Onion was in a little trouble too and unable to swim. So these two bonded and had a great time creating animal shows (think Shamu) from the pool.

6 2 10 100

It was a gorgeous day.

We had people over that night, for more swimming and to watch the Blackhawks and UFC fighting. We grilled, we roasted marshmallows, the kids camped outside. It was a good time.

Sunday was HOT HOT HOT. Buggy went with Mr.F's kids to their gramma's pool, Mr.F went golfing, Bubba stayed in his room and I lounged on the couch watching the Indy 500. It was a pretty good day.

Monday, when I decided to let Bubba off of grounding, Mr.F got called into work. I loaded up all the gang in swimsuits and headed back to Mr.F's parent's house for more pool time.

By the time we arrived the full on rain fest started. It rained all day long. As we sat inside with our suits on just waiting for it to clear. It never did.

It still was nice to lay around watching movies.

When I got home, everything that we had left outside was soaked. The windows of the tent had been left open, the pool towels that were hanging to dry, were drenched.

So I picked up what I could from the yard and left the rest out to "dry" the next day (OK two days).

Wednesday morning, 4 am, I was woken from my beauty slumber to a strange whooshing sound. It was lightening pretty badly and down pouring.

"SHIT, the tent!" I thought. I pictured myself looking out the window to see the tent flying towards me.

I didn't see the tent, I rubbed my eyes trying to clear the sleep from them. I squint my eyes to look again.

"FOR THE LOVE OF PETE." I said to no one.

I couldn't see anything but trees. I texted Mr.F..."Shit, power is out, trees down in yard, tent is toast!"

It still was storming pretty badly so I couldn't go out to assess the damage and there was no way I was going back to bed. So I laid on the couch, waiting for daylight to break and when it did, here is what I saw.

6 2 10 120

6 2 10 119

See over to the far right? That little bit of green (not grass)? That's the tent, or what's left of it. THANK GOD, no one was sleeping in that tent. Two trees fell right on top of it.

6 2 10 117

Nipsco was out by 6 am working on the snapped pole, which put about 50 or more homes without power.

6 2 10 116

Here are the culprits, two trees and a huge branch from a third. You can see the snapped Nipsco pole and the new one they had already installed by lunch time yesterday.

Honestly, I can go on all day about how lucky we are that nothing went through our roof, or anyone's roof. How lucky we are that the downed wires didn't spark any fires, how no one was in that tent. I am very thankful.

Very thankful.

Now though? Clean up. None of this mess is covered with home owner's insurance. The "act of God" clause will keep insurance away for the neighbor's fence. Not only cleaning the trees out of my yard, but continuing the job started by "God" or Mother Nature and removing the now snapped in half trees.

So if you're looking for me this weekend, Mr.F and I will be doing it Paul Bunyan style. (What??)

Paul Bunyan Pictures, Images and Photos

(Remember back when I bought the house? It had survived the tornado unscathed, and now this storm, please don't let our luck run out or bad to happen in threes here. THANKYOUVERYMUCH)

So Fresh...You Capture.

I haven't participated lately, but...

Photobucket

Today's "topic" is fresh...and I couldn't resist.

Tree

This is the beautiful weeping tree in my yard, the yard of MY house, the house I bought for my fresh start.

Everyday that I pull into my driveway and see this tree I feel happy. Everyday that I pull into MY driveway, walk into MY house, see MY messes (well the kids' messes really) I am living.

It truly IS refreshing.

Check out other "You Captures" and congratulate Beth on her new bundle of joy!!

*edit, fixed link to Beth...hopefully.

It's MINE...

Things I love about my house:
Aug09 086

It's mine.

I can plug in the vacuum into one outlet and vacuum the entire house.

It's mine.

It has a really cute manageable yard, but it's still big enough to enjoy.

It's mine.

Kids will continue in the same school system that I graduated from.

IT'S MINE.

When I unlock that door each night after work and walk into my house, it's a sigh of relief. A sigh of pride, a sigh for dreams left to aspire to. It's mine...OURS.

After the initial viewing of the house, my excitement for the house is still with me now that the house is mine.

Like the little girl that dreams of her wedding, I've dreamt of this house. It may not fit EVERY dream I had, but it does fit every dream I had emotionally. This house is a new beginning, the start of me, being me, being a mom, just BEING.

There's a calmness to the house, I felt it the first time I looked at the house. Though we have filled it with our madness, there's still a calmness. It feels like house is hugging me, patting me on the back, telling me THIS is what was right, THIS is your life, live it. This house snuggles me with love and stability.

Lately, I've gotten glimpses of the me that was me before I married Ex#2. It catches me off guard, but in a good way. I knew this person was still there, because I could get bits of her when I was with friends, but now, she shines even when friends aren't around to bring her out.

I think the foundations, literally and figuratively are forming and it's GREAT.

Totally Ticks me off Tuesday-Mowing

Click the button to check out Mommy from the Midwest and other participating in Totally Ticks me off Tuesday

Isn't mowing kinda like women shaving your legs? In that you just don't do it after it drops to a certain temperature outside?

I mean, isn't there a rule that when Mother Nature decides she's going to give you the gift of fucking winter early that you should stop mowing?

Isn't there a freeze rule or something?

There's a freeze rule for shaving my legs.

(Right? ladies? Right? married men?)

Doesn't it ruin the grass if you cut it and then the frost comes and gobbles on your newly exposed grass?

'Cause there should be, there should be a rule.

If there is a rule, please tell my mow happy neighbors. Their mowing is making my yard look as if it hasn't been manicured a day in it's life.

I don't normally play keep up with the Jones', but ya know, I'm new to the neighborhood, I don't want to make a bad impression.

But we've had frost yo. I don't think I should cut my grass. I've retired the lawn mower to its cave for hibernation. I don't want to drag it out...it's kinda mean when I wake it.

(And for those of you that read this entire post thinking gutterlicious thoughts....yeah, me too and I think I love you.)

Geez.

Where'd the week go?

It's Friday already, I haven't even told you all about the move.

As you can see, closing went well. Actually, this whole process was pretty painless. I'm not saying there weren't bumps, there were, but nothing so major that will leave scars.

So I closed on Friday and started moving stuff in the Saturday after. Luckily, most of my furniture was stored right there in the garage of Peed Bush. So when I say "moved" I mean, from the garage to it's resting place in the house. A short move, really. We focused the whole day to getting the big stuff in. (That's what she said).

Sunday was getting essentials unpacked, clothes, undies, and the likes...at 2pm people came over for Buggy's 9th Birthday. I was so proud.

Proud of my beautiful daughter.
september09 066
(haha, just noticed her brother ON THE TABLE in the background)

Proud of my handsome son.
september09 062
(yes, those are underwear on his head. Anyone see lamp shades in this boy's future?)

Proud of our "new" home.
Aug09 085

Proud to have the friends that I do and proud of the family that came to the party.
Because of the divorce of my parents, my stepdad and his family DID not come to the party. Sadly. However, I had the back up plan set before I could even let the sadness settle.

I had been contacted by a member of Ex#2's family. Asking to be invited if we were having a birthday party. Therefore, I talked to Ex#2 and he said, invite all of his family. So it was settled.

I was proud of Ex#2 for attending the party.
I was proud of Ex#2's family that put aside personal feelings about OUR divorce to come and celebrate a CHILD'S day.

I was proud of ME.

Really, isn't that the best part of it all?

Being PROUD of YOURSELF?

I kept saying, this is MY house, this is MY furniture, this is MY life. As surreal as it all felt and still feels...it's AMAZING. It's about time I feel PROUD of me AGAIN!

i'mmmm baaaackk.

did you miss me?
did ya?
huh?
huh?

I missed you my Internets.

Having no computer at home really puts a damper on my porn social interaction.

But, I'm back bitches. I did really miss blogging and reading my blogger friends.

I can honestly tell you, the move went very well. For real. It was a piece of cake.

Speaking of cake, Buggy's party was great, despite the divorce drama caused my stepdad and my mom. Plus...since we are putting a silver lining to my life...we got cake on Sunday AND Monday, so it was all good. :)

I hope to be back in the swing of bloggin working soon so that I can visit you all...

Thanks for all your support and helpful ways, *muah*

Today is the day.

I am so excited about closing on my new place today, but also, I have a stress headache. At least I think it's a stress headache.

I have been so excited and it's not sunk in yet I guess. I don't know, it all feels so surreal. Seems so fast, so, like RIGHT NOW.

That really is how I roll though. I am a procrastinator, I work well under pressure (well, maybe my co-workers might not agree) the job gets done. I seem to tackle several things at once. Always happens, doesn't it?

Maybe most families are like that. I remember my bestie, Kim, when she had just delivered twin girls, her hubby decided he had done enough time in the military and they were packing up their home and trekking from California to St. Louis. Oh and I think they bought a minivan in that time right before too. It's just funny, sometimes it doesn't feel like we're doing ANYTHING unless OUR plates are FULL OF EVERYTHING.

Anyone? Anyone?

Maybe it's just me.

I walked outside this morning and it smelled like fall. I love that smell, the crisp leaves starting to change colors. It's a beautiful time of year and things are working out beautifully.

I hope you all have a great week, I'm out of here.

Holy Conoly

Holy crap. It's Wednesday.

Time is flying at exactly the moments that I want it to...isn't that awesome?

I'm going to throw some randoms at ya today...cause there's lots going on here.

-I am closing on Peed Bush, soon to hopefully be renamed cause peeing on the bush in what is NOW OUR HOUSE'S front yard is way too hillbilly even for Bubba, (could this be the longest possible sentence, er run on and on) FRIDAY!! THIS FRIDAY YO.

-This Friday's closing will mark the first home I've purchased ALL.BY.MYSELF!!

-Immediately following closing, I'm picking up the kids and we are just going to go sit in our house, because we can and it's ours. I will not say forsure, but there might be dancing. House buying makes me feel like dancing. Disco style.

-Saturday morning I have a truck lined up to get the things from stepdad's over to Peed Bush. I hope to work most of the day moving things into the house. Setting up beds is first on list.

-Cable company will be there to hook up cable sometime in their rude FOUR hour window time frame. So after the priority of beds, I'd like to get a TV in. It will be a righteous bachelor pad at that point, right? Bed and TV (with remote). Nice.

-Bubba has a game on Saturday, right smack dab in the middle of the day. Lovely. Why did we sign up for Fall ball again? Whateves.

-Sunday (Sunday, Sunday) because I'm crazy and cheap, we will be throwing my daughter's NINETH birthday party AT.THE.HOUSE. It will save me $65 that I was going to spend on renting a pavilion at a local park. The question is, will it give me a $65 headache? It's just a family and friend's party, so they love us enough to not care if there's no couch to sit on yet, right?

-"family" is italicized for a reason... I'm going to see how the party goes and get back to you on that topic. *hint-check back on TOTALLY TICKED OFF TUESDAY*

-But not on the 9/29 cause I will be on vacation...and I have no home computer, therefore, there will PROBABLY not be any posts here next week...unless I sneak some cyber time from someone.

-I thought about having guest posters, ie; madness posers, but I don't like the pressure of BEING a guest poster, not that I've been asked really before, but yeah. Hey can YOU post on my blog and be funny. I FREEZE. I forget what funny is, or what is funny to me.

So anyway...that's what I have for today...super busy here at work trying to prepare for my week off...hope you all are well.

Week one, WON.

Ok
Week one of camping out on twin mattresses with the kids, complete.

There's been a lot of "MOM! His blanket is touching mine." or "Mom, he won't be quiet." and "MOM, she farted AGAIN."

But I'm alive and surprisingly, I've let them live as well.

Exciting news came to me on Friday just before I left work. The appraisal for Peed Bush is GOOD. Which means the loan is going to underwriting and my closing will be moved up...to as early as THIS FRIDAY 9/25 and the latest being 9/30.

*eee*

This weekend we parked there for a local festival.

Bubba decided since he did it once, he'd do it again and peed on the bush.

Nice.

Animal.

So with my pending closing and move, I'm bustin' booty to get things done at work, because I will be on vacation again to move stuff into the house.

DOUBLE *EEEE*

Where am I?

I'm feeling scattered. I hate that feeling. I need to make a list.

This is the final week in our house. It's kinda sad, really. I like this house. We've done a lot of work there. I like the way I had it decorated (upstairs, I wasn't overly fond of the downstairs).

It was a quick five years there, really quick. Yet those five years just feel heavy and I am ready to release them. The house is the last step in that release.

When we moved into the house, I couldn't picture spending the rest of my life in that house. Just never really pictured my future there or in my marriage. Sadly.

I packed all weekend long. Getting rid of crap, packing other crap. I think for the most part, I'm pretty well ready to go and then I think of all the really large items that are going with me and I get panicked again.

boxes Pictures, Images and Photos
(not my house or my picture, but this is what it looks like in my house right now)

Stove, fridge, entertainment center, hell-even my king size bed, it's all so big (that's what she said)...it feels slightly overwhelming.

My body is sore just from carrying boxes this weekend, I imagine I'm going to need a MAJOR massage after the real move.

Plus, living out of suitcases for three weeks has me really stressed. I hope it flies by really fast.

Blah blah blah, whine whine whine, right? (See why I haven't posted much lately? Even Porky is on my ass (he wishes) to post something for his blog.)

So stick around, hopefully soon I will have something funny to post about, but for now, it's scattered, cause I'm scattered.

*EEEE* (updated)

I'm so excited
and I just can't hide it.

(stick that in your juice box and suck it)

house - fingers crossed Pictures, Images and Photos

Well, I OFFICIALLY put an offer on a house.

*EEEEE*

Said offer is to be presented to the seller today.

*EEEEE*

As I've mentioned we been through a lot of houses and they were, let's see, um HORRIBLE. As we were leaving yet another assault on our health of a house, we spotted a For Sale By Owner sign that had just been erected that day.

*EEEEE*

We called the number as we sat in the drive way and the lady was kind enough to come right over to show us the house. As we walked through the house I had an overwhelming sense of whoa, this house is the nicest we've seen. I was giddy, but their price was at my max of what I could afford.

Riding the tidal wave of house hunting, I was riding high and overly excited. My beautiful, loving and smart realtor told me to sleep on it and we had scheduled two more showings at other FSBOs.

When I went home, of course I didn't sleep well, the dollar signs were popping in and out of my consciousness. After viewing the other two FSBOs I had a decision to make.

I drove my Mom by the FSBO for which we now know as Peed Bush (to explain shortly), she and Bubba exited the vehicle to peek in the windows. The weather was dicey, to say the least.

As the skies turned green, not like yak Nickelodeon green, but an eery green yellow booger color things started flying around my Mom and Bubs. A small branch seemed to swirl past their heads, but Bubba really had to pee.

Lucky boy, pulled down trow and peed right on the bush as the weather started getting more creepy, hence the name now of Peed Bush. When the small branch did it's dance over the front lawn Mom said, "I think you better hurry up dude, this weather doesn't look good!"

Barely zipped my Mom got Bubs back in the van and slammed her door shut just as we heard a huge POP! Pulling out of the driveway we seen trees all downed on the road behind us.

Long story short (if that's possible) barely a block away the tornado had slammed itself into the roof of the middle school and ripped it down to the steel beams. BARELY A BLOCK AWAY FROM WHERE WE WERE SITTING.

Buggy giggles that we already have memories there at Peed Bush. My best friend and I giggled that maybe that was a sign to look at the house more closely, or it was a sign that we're morons being outside peeking in windows. Regardless, it was a sign of sorts.

This week I took my stepdad through the house for his personal and professional opinion on Peed Bush, after his stamp of approval and ideas of remodeling I had my realtor write up a purchase agreement.

Today! Today she will present the offer to the seller, today I will have an answer on if our Peed Bush memories will continue or be stopped in their tracks. Today I will know if the tornado like emotions will be halted or blow my roof off.

Technically she will have 24 hours to either counter or reject my offer, but for dramatic effect, TODAY IS THE DAY YO.

Oh, Peed Bush on Tornado Alley, shall you be the home of our dreams and house our future trials and tribulations? Please say I do.

*UPDATED, SHE ACCEPTED THE OFFER!!!! I AM A HOMEOWNER!!! Now comes all the inspections!!!

Girl Talk-Dreams

It's girl talk Thursday time...
Ok, so I don't participate EVERY week, but it's because it is on the same day as the You Capture Photo thingy...
Photobucket

This week the You Capture challenge was to photograph food, have you seen my ass? I don't photograph food, I eat it and lots of it (not anymore, but a girl can still dream) therefore no you capture from me this week...

Dreaming about eating segues nicely with the girl talk topic....um, dreams.

I dream that I could eat as much as I'd like and not gain a pound.

(Weight Gods are you payin attention?)

Have I mentioned that I recently hit my final final goal through weight watchers? I have, or had, cause as soon as I hit it my sabotaging ways managed to gorge itself and give me back those pounds.

I love me.

So anyway, I don't remember my dreams much. Usually the dreams I do remember are the ones I have during the 10 minute snooze time on my alarm clock in the mornings.

I hate mornings.

I snooze the alarm a good half an hour before I get tired of hearing the damn thing going off and get my butt out of bed.

I do know lately that I go to bed day dreaming (or is it night dreaming?) about a house purchase and I wake up thinking about a house purchase. So I can only conclude that I am probably dreaming about it in my sleep as well.

I've seen lots of houses. Most of them are a total no-go for my budget and lack of owing any sexual favors to a construction worker.

I'd settle for a handy man or hired help if he wasn't girlfriend up already.

There are two however that would require some work but one that won't require whoring out to complete.

(I am totally kidding about the sexual favors, unless you know someone who knows someone.)

(Or you are that someone. Call me)

(kidding)

(kinda)

So my dreams are of the kids and I settling in, manuevering around the house and picturing what we will look like in the house in say ten years.

I've been lacking in sexual dreams as well lately. I do recall having several while I was pregnant and they were yummy, I just don't have them anymore (that I can remember and if you can't remember them then they aren't any fun.)

I do more dreaming while I'm awake than while I sleep. If I were that kind of blogger, *adjusts halo* I'd tell you all about my sexual day dreams. Let's just say, there has to be SOMEONE out there that is what I dream of and not an ass...right? RIIIGGGHHHTTT.

(I'll keep dreaming.)

(Someday my dreams will come true and by then I will probably want/dream something else.)

(Please let him wear a uniform, like a fireman or something, I'm not picky.)

(What???)

Stripper + Fireman Pictures, Images and Photos

Dreaming is fun, whether it's day dreaming or night dreaming.

I have dreams, they just aren't while I'm sleeping.

Not me Monday

I did NOT post twice today.

****

I did not lose my ever loving mind when Bubba called me a B*tch this weekend.
I did not put soap in his mouth.
I did not find it funny that this five year old then screamed he was going to live with his father.
I did not stop him from packing. (oh wait, that one's true, I let him pack)
I can not believe I didn't kill the boy.

****

I did not email Bubba's teacher warning her about the "three amigos".
I did not get an email back saying she's already noticed some issues.
I did not read her email and shake my head at the comment "He is such a character and very intuitive."
I did not giggle and think, "ha, intuitive? More like a calculated manipulative little shit".

****

I did not threaten my children a million times this weekend only to have them continue their behavior anyway.
I did not want to just close my door and nap away the weekend.
I did not do a dance when it was bed time (= quiet time) last night.

****

I have NOT changed my mind a million times on the renting vs buying battle.
I have NOT been blessed with the bestest realtor ever and I love her.
I have NOT dreamt night after night about the possibilities and obstacles.
I have NOT gone over every scenario a million times in my head and with anyone that will listen.

Frazzled Friday

WHOA, I am frazzled.
I am just feeling very SPENT.

This house hunting is weighing heavily on my mind and heart. I am so afraid to make the wrong decision for the kids and I. There just is not much out there in the price range that I would feel comfortable buying.

If it is in my price range, in our area, it is a DUMP that would need thousands of dollars in renovations.

For example, a LOVELY repo home, HUGE, for 125,000...EXTENSIVE mold damage.

I have two options I am looking at right now, they are both For Sale by Owners, but neither are perfect for us. Each has draw backs...and would be max of what I feel like I could/want to afford a month.

It's all so stressful...less than 30 days now for me to be out of our current home.

I'm looking like the girl in my header again.

(I have a rental I'm going to look at this weekend, we might just have to chill in a rental until something better comes along. *sigh*)

You Capture-Peace

This is a fun carnival set up by Beth @ I Should be Folding Laundry.

This week's challenge was Peace...
amongst the house selling, packing, house hunting, school starting, softball and t-ball starting, there isn't much peace here...

But before Buffett, I saw this old jeep sitting in a man's yard. It just LOOKED peaceful, the stories that jeep could tell, then the surfboard resting up against it's old buddy. Right?

"willy" waves

Irony.
Huge storm hit our little town last night.
Not peaceful.

Home with kids today because classes were cancelled.
Not peaceful.

My thoughts go out to those that had significant damage.
Not peaceful for them.

No damage to my house (or the house I am thinking about purchasing)
THAT IS PEACEFUL.

Hope you all have a great Thursday, hopefully I will be back to work tomorrow morning.
