Seven.

Today, February 28th, is my Bubba's SEVENTH birthday.

*claps*

Feb 20th we celebrated Bubba's SEVENTH year life.  Or as MR.FF put it, we celebrate SEVEN years I've managed to live through life with Bubba.  OR SEVEN years and Bubba still has life.

I kid.  He can really be a good kid when he's paid.

Mr.FF made the cake...

Bubba read his birthday cards...so cool to hear your child read...

Faceoff

It was a good party. :)

Here is his birth story, not gory... :)

He really has improved since last year...I think (I hope) that he is finally settling into our life now together, just us three in our house. So much for him has changed over the last year, with the finalization of the divorce, the new house, the new significant others. It seems that lately he's really started to settle in with all of the changes.

His fits are less and less, not that they are gone, but I'd say he's more to the "normal" side in number of fits, if there is a "normal" side.

He hasn't gotten into any trouble at school for the most part, nothing of the sexual nature anyway.

And maybe I am delusional. I don't know...but lately it has seemed more tolerable...and better. When I'm not pmsing .

Counseling is going well, she has good things to say about Bubba and she strongly feels that nothing has happened to him (again, back story, he has said and drawn some pretty explicit sexual things, that a boy his age should not know...which has the school and me concerned for him). However, we will continue in counseling until we feel it isn't of benefit to him anymore.

He is doing well in wrestling and when I say well, I don't mean in wins (he's had two)...but his attitude on the mat and immediately following the matches has been impressive to me. I really thought it was gonna be ugly...but it hasn't...and I tell him all the time how proud I am of him for having a good sportsman like attitude. I only ask that that same attitude follow him home sometimes.

He's so handsome. :)

I love you my Bubba-rooski!!

I will love you forever. Happy birthday Bud. :)

Turkey, road signs and St. Louis, oh my.

The night before thanksgiving, Mr.FF and I worked on his donation to the Thanksgiving dinner.  He was "forced" into bringing a cake to the festivities.  He really wasn't in to making any cake, didn't want to do it, however, he did and he let me help.

We're so proud of our creation.

It tasted just as yummy too.  It was a pumpkin cake with cream cheese frosting.  The head and neck was made with rice crispy treats and modeling chocolate.  Doesn't it look awesome?

Well, as usual, the cake took longer than we had hoped and we ended up running late to my Gramma's for dinner.  In my efforts to hurry, I had to move a road sign out of my way, driving down into a ditch and THANK GOD that we weren't injured.

It was just me and Bubba in the van, Mr.FF and his boys were following us.  I was entering onto the highway ramp.  I remember thinking, whoa, this is tighter than what I thought (twss).  By the time I took my foot off of the gas, the van started to slide and go sideways right into a construction sign.  We bounced off of the sign and drove right down into the very deep ditch (yeaaah).  When we came to a stop, I straightened out the tires and floored it to get the heck out of there.  I was worried we'd start sinking and we had a dinner to get to by golly.

I got us back up to the top, put the van in park, made sure Bubba was ok and laid my head onto the steering wheel.  A few seconds later, Mr.FF is at my window.  *tap tap tap*  He didn't say a word, he reached in and rubbed his hand on my back until I could lift my head. *gotta love him*

"How F'd is the van?"  was all I could squeak out.

Well, it's not too bad, but let me tell you....I am SICK AND TIRED of these accidents I keep getting myself into.
*shakes fist in air*
*sigh*

We had a lovely dinner (after my shaking had subsided), I dropped the kiddies off to Capt'n Cancel and then went to Mr.FF's family dinner (equally as lovely).

Friday morning, we all piled in the van and headed down for my annual trip to see Kimmy Sue!!!

our trip album cover

This reminds me of a CD cover.

To be continued....fyi, Mr.FF drove the rest of the weekend.

R-O-W-D-I-E, that's the way we spell rowdie, rowdie...let's get rowdie (is it really spelled that way?)

WE didn't get the best pictures the night of the party...

MISC 111

But I know you're all dieing to know what we dressed up as...aren't you?

Oh you're not?  OK, then lets move on to a Random Tuesday....

No?

WE thought long and HARD about what we were going to be...it was between Adam and Eve, Popeye and Olive Oyl, and the winner.  We drove out to the costume store.

No Adam and Eve. :(

Olive Oyl, but no Popeye. :(

Our hearts sank just a little when we didn't find the third option and our brains started turning as to what else we could be.  As we stood looking over the huge wall of options, there it was.

MR.FF's first choice of costumes....He's such a nut.

Here we are, blurry, but you get the idea.

MISC 110

Yes, my leg really can go that high.

Yes, Mr.FF knows he's a lucky lucky man.

*Ahem*

Here is the skit we were portraying...we worked on The Perfect Cheer and everything.

Sadly we were unable to get the Tone Loc song we needed in time for the party. :(  We did stop at Walmart on the way.  I am sure it was very difficult for the Walmart salesman to stifle his giggles when asked if they had the Funky Cold Medina song.

Especially since Paul is the one who asked while Mr.FF (not in costume, btw) hid his face in the cds and I (in costume btw) kept my back to the whole conversation....

MISC 128
Paul McCartney and the Grim Reaper.

We did complete one cheer though, it had the crowd rolling on the floor and Mr.FF's eye's rolling in the back of his head (or at least that's what it looks like in the picture)

MISC 115
"Who's that in my tee pee?"
"It's me, It's me"

*straightens skirt*

We had a really fun night even if we didn't have the music.  We are already thinking about what we can be for next year.

You say I've missed a week?

I'd say you're right...I've not posted this week...however, I am not quite sure I missed a darn thing about it.

Let me think...um. Nope.

It's been a shitty couple of weeks for me, emotionally...and I really can't quite figure (I totally just typed finger, oh whoa) it out.

I mean, one minute I can...and then the next minute I'm acting all psycho lunatic again.  What's totally crazy about it...is I can feel the crazy, I can hear the crazy, I can SEE the crazy...but I can't stop the crazy.  Is that a song?

It should be.

I might need meds.  Or at least...I think I might need meds.  Just sayin.

Anycrazy, lets do a fast forward-ish kinda thing today...er maybe a rewindish in fast mode.

Ready?
SET.

GO.
Music Monday...Labor Day.

Love this line, "cause this isn't what you're use to...at all"

Tuesday...Is it ticks me off Tuesday?
Already?  No?  Well...maybe it's random Tuesday...nonetheless...I was ticked on Tuesday...

Kids went with Captain Cancel this past Sunday and for the holiday on Monday.  He picked them up Sunday afternoon and brought them back Monday night 7 ish.

Do you want to know how many times they ate fast food while they were with him?

Get your stomachs ready, yo.

FIVE.

McDonald's TWICE
Dairy Queen (I'm assuming for dessert only) TWICE
Subway ONCE.

Imagine MY guilt, *chokes on words* when we had to run through Burger King Tuesday night because of football practice from 5-7, school open house til 7:30 and home at 8pm.

I didn't get the story from the kids until after we ordered that Burger King.

Anyfattening, moving on from this topic cause it really ticks me off.

Wednesday...OH SWEET WORDLESS WEDNESDAY.

Thursday...

Wedding was really beautiful...there still is so much I need to learn about my camera...BUT...I made a contact...and will hopefully (if it all works out as I dreamed) I will be shadowing her and her partner at the next weddings they do.  One of them TEACHES photography.  *squeal*

And Mr.FF's Cake??? Awesome.
It tasted really good too.

And here we are my Loverlies.
Friday.  Oh Friday sweet sweet Friday.

For it being a short week, it sure took Friday a long ass time to arrive.

But it's here...Thank goodness it's Friday.

Hmmmm Cake

I know it's not a random day, but I'm making it random.

So there.

Nobody in the office waters the one plant that we have.
I came in Monday morning after my vacation and the plant was all droopy and sad looking.  One good watering and it sprung back to life.

Didn't anyone see that poor plant?  Why hadn't anyone watered it?

The funny thing is..I can't keep plants alive in my own house.

Hmmm.

I poop.  Everyone poops.  I have YET to poop at Mr. F's house while he was there...not that I've stopped over when he isn't there to poop...that would just be weird.  Right?

Is it weird I haven't pooped at his house?

I am not sure, but one time (at band camp) I had had two fiber one bars...in one day...I sure could have pooped there...but I did not.  I didn't even squeak out a gas bubble.

Sure my stomach was pissed at me for it, but c'mon.  Queens shouldn't poop in somone else's castle right?

Besides, there isn't a toilet that I haven't clogged.  I sure as HELL am not going to have that embarrassment.

(and yes I am aware that he reads my blog, and I am sure I will be embarrassed for him to read this...but not QUITE as embarrassed if I had to get a plunger and unclog his toilet, or worse the damn thing over flows...just sayin)

I am sure you all are thrilled to know this info.  Aren't you glad I am blogging?  You're welcome.

Big Brother 12 is on, tonight we find out the saboteur and see the first live eviction of the season.  I am excited.

Mr. F has been on overload with cake orders lately.  I sadly haven't had ANY photo jobs.

I have, however, become a damn good master baker assistant.

*ahem*

Check out the latest cakes.  Tonight he will be starting on another graduation cake...but this next one is for a girl...and it's going to be blingalicious.

Speaking of cake.  He made me the yummiest cheesecake for my birthday.  I think I might have mentioned at one time during our friendship that a good cheesecake could make me cream my jeans....I might have said that...and his cheesecake did.

Speaking of birthdays...his is Saturday.  *smiles*

So hopefully when I get caught up from the vacation...and get month end done I will catch you all up on my lazy, poolside vacation.
*fingers crossed*

Some people have TALENT...

Have I ever told you all how talented Mr.F is in bed?

Have you seen the cakes he's made?

cake2010 1

How about this one???

CAKE JAISEA

Here's the latest, in where he figured out how to make modeling chocolate and sculpted that there dude. Despite what some may think, this dude is NOT digging for bodies, but what he does dig for is just as weird. Ok, maybe not AS weird but whatever.

cake

How about this 50th birthday cake?

50th cake

But he has really topped his artistic ability. I think that he should draw up a whole cartoon. Starring me (of course) WonderMom, (or am I SuperMom I can't remember) in battle against Captain Cancel.

Those little drawings on the side of the Captain Cancel "logo" (I'm envisioning this on the front of his asshat gear) is a little martini glass, a beer can and anal beads (OK, the third item I really can't tell what they are...so my critic eye says they are anal beads.)

(Upon further inspection, it's probably a six pack of beer, but let's stick with the anal beads (twhs))

Dear Mr.F,

You're awesome.

Ice this - poo monkeys.

As some of you guessed, yesterday's post had some alternative meaning....however, SYD, it did not have to do with Mr.F spreading icing on me....though it's a great thought.

*mental note*

I do like a big fat chunk of irony and even though there was an alternative meaning to the icing on the cake it also had some relevance.

I went over to Mr.F's last night to "help" him with another cake order he received.  So there was icing involved just not in the kinky way SYD suggested or fantasized about.

Pervert!!  I like where your head is though.

Although I can't really discuss what the alternative meaning was cause I'm all mysterious like that, it makes me hot to read.  I can tell you all that...it just doesn't stop.

The madness just keeps on rollin.

Maybe I'm just over exaggerating everything, but it sure feels like shit is being thrown all around me and it's almost getting comical to watch me dodge the poo flinging monkeys.

monkey poo Pictures, Images and Photos

At least after a good cry or a stomp of my foot, I am laughing.

Manically laughing, but laughing just the same.

As I've stated before, Ex#1-Buggy's Dad and I are doing a split summer visitation schedule for the first time in nine years.

I don't like it.  Our agreed upon schedule is that I get Buggy every weekend during "his" time, except the first weekend her Nana called and she wanted her for the night.  Now this on the second weekend of this new schedule Ex#1 texted me about picking Buggy up Saturday or Sunday whichever was better.

"Whoa," I screeched if you can screech on text, "I thought I got her every weekend...why can't you pick her up on Monday?"

His response?

"Father's Day."

Well, hell on wheels.  Father's effing day.

To make matters worse, if there such a thing, the "father's day" text came at 6 am this morning.  A mere 3 hours after I had gone to bed due to master baking with Mr.F.

After a few choice words to myself, I texted back.  "OK, Sunday @4 is fine".  It was only right that I give her up that day.  If it were HIS weekend for Mother's Day he'd give her up to me.

BUT I DON'T WANT TO.
I don't want to share.
BOOOOO.
*pouts*

Other tidbits you tally whackers is...it's Captain Cancel's weekend...and I haven't heard a word from him about picking Bubba up at all this weekend.

Bubba has a cavity...the trip to the dentist should be GREAT blogging material...but I'm not looking forward to the fight that it will take to get-r-done.

On that happy ass kicking note...hope you all have a great weekend.

Oh the icing on the, cake my friends.
The yummy scrumptious icing on the cake.
The lick your fingers and let out a moan icing on the cake.
It really doesn't get much better than icing on the cake, does it?

*shew* BUSY

So our weekend alone was busy. LOL.

Friday night, we put the finishing touches on a birthday cake Mr.F was making for his cousin's daughter's first birthday.

I was up with him til about 5 am and then I HAD to get some sleep, he came to bed around 6:30. Then we were up by 7:30 am to go to his son's baseball game. After the game we went back, did some more finishing touches and then off to the party.

I thought I'd fall over with exhaustion. That didn't happen til around midnight on Saturday night. Sunday we slept in til 10:30am and didn't do much all day long.

It was a good weekend, but busy...

This coming weekend is the 40th anniversary party, plus Bubba has a t-ball game, pictures for t-ball and football sign ups. Sunday I am partaking in a fitness-athon for a friend's children who were diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis.

Busy busy.

Mr.F said the other day that BOTH of his son's want to play football, plus my Bubba...and I'm no fortune teller, but I am predicting much more busy weekends for us to come.

*what?*

Yes, it is our lives. They are good lives, just busy ones.

Master Baker

Mr.FF makes cakes.

I think he likes to, but nonetheless, he makes them.

He makes them for friends, but also, for the son and dad cake baking extravaganza for his sons' cub scouts.

This year marks the 100 years of scouting, therefore the theme was obviously, 100 years of scouting. Duh.

His plan was to make a cub scout wearing on one half the uniform from 1910 and the other half to wear the uniform the boys wear now.

I giggled supported his BIG idea. I was very skeptical curious to see how he'd pull it off.

This past weekend he went to town on the cake. Not having my kids, I eagerly sat and watched helped.

He's impressive, no?

cake2010

So is Mr.FF.

I was so busy watching helping that I didn't get many pictures of "the making of" that little cub scout, but here is the end result, minutes before it had to be RUSHED to the cub scout meeting.

cake2010 1

cake2010 2

This cake was baked Thursday night, worked on Friday night, worked on the good part of Saturday (until I made him quit and take me to dinner and the comedy club) and then worked on right up until it had to be presented on Sunday.

The perfectionist in him would say that it still needed tweaking, however, being the perfectionist that *I* am, I know that had he had anymore time he still wouldn't have been 100% happy with it.

Besides, I think that cake looked pretty damn awesome as it was!

Let me also add, that it tasted mighty fine.

That Mr.FF is quite the Master Baker.
