Random Tuesday...is today a random day?

I always type an "e" at the end of Randome.
What's up with THAT?

BTW. This is my 900th post...holy schnikies.

I am mad, sad, aggravated, etc about the Bears loss this weekend. Seriously? This was for a chance to go to the Super Bowl...dammit.

However, in true albeit Packer fan friend fashion, this cheered me up.

Then it promptly reminded me that I am dangerously creeping up to my "Weight Watchers goal" weight...which is not a good thing. I can not and DO NOT want to gain anymore weight. Yet, I've reverted to all of my old, BAD BAD habits. Must.get.back.on.board.

Did I tell you about my New Year's resolution? What the hell, it's only Jan 25th, why not tell you now? MR.FF will be glad to know...I have not touched his phone to snoop through it since the new year. As tempting as it is, I have refrained. I've not signed in on his facebook either.

Gonna go with trust *says through gritted teeth*-I'll keep you posted, so far so good.

I'm (of course) watching the Bachelor...anyone? anyone? *punches self in the eye for attention* How 'bout now?

C-R-A-Z-Y!

Idol...watching that too...and surprisingly (for me, maybe not millions of other women in the world) I'm kinda attracted to Steven Tyler. After they show him and I adjust in my seat a little, I have to wonder...how much work has he had done? His face is taunt, no?

Not so surprisingly, I have to adjust in my seat for Jo-lo too. Mr.FF doesn't like how nice and goody goody she "appears" to be on the show. Again, not so surprisingly, he likes NAUGHTY NAUGHTY girls. *cough*

Since we're randomly speaking...but on the topic of reality TV...Boston Rob and Russell will both be returning on Survivor. Discuss amongst yourselves. I love the idea...and hope hope hope they (the other contestants) don't vote them off right away. I think they should team up and make a mad crazy duo.

HOLY COW, My cousin posted a picture of her Dotson (ie; Wiener dog, if you didn't know)puppy on her lap... must.refrain.from.inappropriate.comments.can't.look.

Happy Tuesday Blogosphere.

Random Jizz..shizz.

Serenity Now!! Insanity Later...

It's random day.
Funny thing is, for once I don't feel like going random...but I will...cause time is limited these days.

My license plate is expired.  OOPS and GRRR.
Since I moved I never received a notice that it was time to renew...and well, outta sight outta mind.
So somehow, at some point in this crazy schedule I am going to have to get to the emissions testing place, then back to the DMV to get it taken care of.

I'm still flying on the good news yesterday. :-)

Yesterday was Bubba's football pictures.  I forgot my order form.  I could have filled a new one out but I figure I can take good enough pictures.  The only thing I will be missing is the team photo.  I can scam scan one of those out of Capt'n Cancel's package...ew wait order.

Buggy has counseling on Friday at the same time she is suppose to be at Brownies.  Good times.

Kids had open house at school last week...I got good reports on BOTH kids.  This makes me so happy especially in Bubba's case.  We all know how last year ended.

All the Fall shows are starting next week...wooohooo...what shows are you excited about?  Me?  GREY'S ANATOMY!!!  For serious.  I'm a little excited for GLEE too. :-)

That's all I've got for today folks.
Gotta leave work early for football.

Happy Random Tuesday Shiznit

Really???

I was walking to pick up Buggy from Karate the other night when a car full of kids (or what I assume were kids) started chanting, "MILF, MILF, MILF" from their car windows.

I was too embarrassed to acknowledge them.

I wonder though, how did they know I was a Mom?

Does my hair scream MOM.

I wasn't driving the MOM mobile, my lovely mini-van named Val.

I wasn't sporting MOM jeans up to my waist, or flooded above my ankles.

Really???

Not that I'm embarrassed to be a MOM or anything, but is it just assumed that a youngish/oldish lady is a MOM?

I guess I should be happy that they weren't chanting OLIF (Old lady I'd F*) or something...

meeeee MOM

In other news, I opened a bill here at work.  The note at the bottom says, "Your account is seriously past due"...Seriously?  Seriously.  I find this hysterical.

1) it's not my bill (however is my job or loss thereof if I don't get this paid)
2) owner already knows how "seriously" late this bill is
3) he's handling it.

So, because of the above 3 things. THIS CRACKS ME UP.  Seriously.

Does this work in other areas, not just bill collection?

Let's see.

Dear Comcast

You SERIOUSLY need to lower my bill.  Just sayin.  I seriously can't afford you much longer.  You're killing me with your ridiculous packages, why can't I just seriously have regular low budget cable AND keep the dvr?  Seriously.  You need to work this out.  Seriously.

Signed,
Seriously (distraught going broke paying for cable, where's my antennas when I need them) Stacie

Meh. Doubtful.

In other other news, it's a long holiday weekend yo.  I am sooo ready for Sunday and Monday.  I need some R&R, some down time, a little nod to NOTHING to do.  Oxymoron alert, I will be doing NO labor on labor day!  I hope.

I should work in the yard

or clean the house

or something productive.

but....NAAAAAH.

I hope you all have a wonderful holiday weekend...eat, drink, be merry.

AND IT STARTS...

Serenity Now!! Insanity Later...

Here it is.  The BUSY part of our summer.  As if the first part of the summer wasn't busy in itself.

Both kids are LOVING the jump start summer school program.

*shew*

Bubba had his first football practice last night, he seemed to really like it.  The coach met with the parents after practice and said he really plans on running them silly and wearing them out.

I am sure the smile on face said it all.  PERFECT.  Wear Bubs out, rough him up a little, I love it all. :o)

Buggy starts her karate tonight.  I am excited for her.

There were quite a few moms that I knew with kids on Bubba's team.  I was talking to one in particular.  She has her older son in swimming.  I've wanted to get Buggy into the swim club here, but they practice so early in the day that I didn't know how I could work that schedule.  When this Mom mentioned it last night, my light bulb went off in my head.  Maybe if the karate doesn't work out, I can set up a car pool deal.

I love living in the town that we are in...there are so many connections...so many familiar faces!

Mr.FF's debut coaching gig went smoothly.  He's so organized and awesome.  I can't wait to see him in his coaching shirt, whistle hanging from his neck, out on the field yelling out plays and doing whatever else the coaches do...*meow*

Did I mention Bubba's coach is one half of the "it" couple?  Funny to read that (and this one) from two years ago.  How much of my life has changed since then.  Crazy.

My bestie Kim was in town this weekend.  She left today.  It's just never enough time...especially with kids involved.  It is just never enough time.

(KIM...let's really think about that friends weekend next summer.  For reals)

I think that is all I have for now.  I am really frazzled with the new schedules, and work...hang in there, I am sure I will get back to the funny soon. ;)

Random Jizz...

Serenity Now!! Insanity Later...

Welcome.
I am running low on time today, therefore it's random Tuesday time.

Ready?

Set.

Go.

Big Brother love, yo. For a great spoiler site, check out BBDish.

Two lines that have made me laugh out loud...one already aired...and the second one probably won't air.

First one was from the blonde after a Head of Household competition where they had to grab on to some Oscar Meyer Wieners, dripping in ketchup and mustard, and hang on while it swung across to the other side. Her line:
‎
"I lost my dignity on a slippery wiener" - Brittany BB12

*snort*

The next one, needs no explanation.

Ragan the gay guy: "It's like hot and muggy. This is what I imagine the inside of a vagina must be like."

Matt: "It's exactly like this."

*buahaha*

I love this show, but I love the spoiler blogs even more. Thanks to BBDish for the...um, the dish.

****
I am taking extra breaths for next week and the weeks to follow.
Bubba starts football.  Monday thru Friday practice from 5-7.
Buggy starts karate.  Tues and Thurs 5:30-6:15.
Not to mention my normal work schedule and the kids' counseling every Friday.

Hey, when I fill my plate, I fill it to the last bit.

However, I am dating someone who is WORSE than me.
He's gonna coach Burger's team, Onion is playing too.
Plus the cake business, oh and he's Popcorn Dad for Cub Scouts.
Not to mention his normal work schedule.

I might be crazy, but he takes the cake.  (and makes the cake. heheh)

*****
August is going to be a crazy busy month, besides the extra curricular activities...

8/7 I am surprising Buggy with an EARLY birthday present.  I am taking her to see the Jonas Brothers.

*EEEE*

I am so excited to take her to her first concert.  She is going to shit bricks.  I can't wait.

8/14 JIMMY BUFFETT.  Oh yes.  I had such a great time last year that I am going again this year.

Mr.FF is a virgin to the debauchery that is the pregame Buffett!!  I can't wait to introduce him to the fun.

(Jump in sweetie the water is fine)

8/21 MIGHT just be a free weekend with no plans! *gasp*  I am not holding my breath on that one though. ;)

8/25 School Starts.

8/28 Bubba's football games start.

*good times*

*****

I want to go on a vacation...maybe it's just the upcoming schedule that has me tired, but yeah...
I want to go to the Smokey Mountains.
Just me, Mr.FF, a hot tub, a great view and a case of beer or two.
Just sayin.

*****

My Bestie might be here this weekend.... that makes me happy.

Random Peace Out.

Random for Tuesday

Capt'n Cancel strikes again.
This past weekend was HIS weekend, just as he has on other weekends lately, he had to work.

"What are you plans? Do you have plans?" He asked.

"My plans are that I have Bubba." I respond.

Cause that's how it's gone lately. I haven't made any major plans that didn't involve the kids, because he's such at cancel creep.

He did have Bubba on Sunday, after showing up an hour late. He picked Bubba up, went to lunch with him, was suppose to take him fishing (not sure if this really happened or not) and then promptly dropped Bubba off at his brothers so that he could go out to dinner with a high school friend.

I am sure Bubba DID want to spend the night with his cousins, but what I am even MORE sure of is that Captain Cancel took that as a golden opportunity to go out with his favorite people, himself and Coor's Light.

What an ass.

****
I've noticed a slight change in Bubba's attitude at home for the better.

I hope my crack down on him has had a positive affect on him. I hope!  I hope!  I hope!

I know that if I don't remain consistent then it was all for naught.

He has a counseling appointment on Friday.

(Don't forget my awesome nomination for parenting blog...cause my parenting skills rock...ahahahaha.)

****
My yard is pretty much cleaned up from that latest storm that blazed through.

We did chop up some of the tree in the neighbors yard and made sure that the tree from "my yard" was removed from their yard.

We would have done more to help them out had they not sat their asses in their house all weekend, even at one point they stood on their back step and WATCHED us cleaning up.

Kinda ruined our good deed mood, ya know?

As my insurance adjuster said, it's their problem let THEM worry about their fence and yard.

Jacktards.

****
Buggy's dad, the total opposite of Captain Cancel, after having his child support re-evaluated last year realized that he is allowed to have Buggy for one half of the summer.

Therefore he'd like to take that privilege up...NOW.

It's his right and I want to do what's best for Buggy, but IT SURE SUCKS. I don't want to share her THAT much. :)

Can't please me, one Dad that never takes his kid and one Dad that takes his kid too much. Neither situation makes me happy. ;)

Well, after mapping it out on a calendar, we are going to try our first split summer visitation. If it doesn't work out we can revisit and come up with a different plan for next time.

****
Bubba said to me last night, "Why can't I spend the summer with my Dad?"

*raises fist in air*

****
I have the worse case of cramps and PMS today, so this really could qualify for a F-U Tuesday or a Totally Ticked off Tuesday...or a you better stay the fuck out of my way today...or yeah...you get my drift right?

*puffs up chest- lunges toward you intimidatingly*

****
Hopefully tomorrow is a better day...if not, it will be a wordless Wednesday for your sake and mine.

Random Madness

Crap. Where has the day gone?

I'm going random today.

-I've had terrible tummy troubles since Sunday night. It seems to be worse right after I eat. Sucks.

-I can blog freely here about my bowel movements and the affects of my fiber one bars, but when talking to Mr.F I can not discuss freely with him. I'd like him to think I'm a princess that doesn't fart or "drop the kids at the pool"....except he reads this blog. DAMMIT.

*waves hi to Mr.FF*

-I'm still on this topic, not sure why I keep bullet pointing it....but this tummy ache isn't even producing any gas or kid droppin....so really Mr.F that is NOT why I had to go home so quickly last night...

-Moving on...

-I am going to my first White Sox game of the season this weekend! WOOT. Remember this one time last year? That's right BISHES it's on...again. MW Mommy and MW Daddy have graciously agreed to join me...YEEEHHHHAAAWWWW.

-Sunday is Mother's Day...and let me just say if the Ex, Capt'n Cancel, is invited to THIS friggin holiday, I might just go PMS PSYCHO on someone...anyone.

-Speaking of PMS Psycho...you have to read Bev today. Good stuff. Not that I can relate...no. Not me.

*Smiles*

-I really could kick myself in the taco, I saw Capt'n Cancel's facebook page last night...OH MMM GEEEE...seriously.  Here's the thing I had to keep saying (after the cuss words flew out of my mouth) to myself.  He is the same person he's been, no matter the drastic good and bad things I tried during our marriage to change him, he's never going to change.  At least I don't have to be married to him...and thank goodness I'm not anymore.

-I booked a professional photo shoot for the kids and I.  I am totally excited for it.  It's not until the end of July, but I'm already thinking about what we will wear.

-Today feels like Friday.  FML, it's only Thursday.

-Heard this song today, I love it...so sharing is caring my lovelies.

Ok, I'm outie.

Dang...randoms

I didn't win the ebay dress yesterday...BOOOO.

Of course I did the normal (right?) womanly thing (after throwing a little fit) I decided I didn't want my number 2 or 3 choice either.

*smiles*

I did find something finally. I hope I'm happy with it once I actually have it in hand.

I am not going to show you (it's a surprise for YOU and for Mr.F)...but trust there will be pictures from the party which is one week from tomorrow.

Groovy times, my friends, groovy times.

******

So, Captain Cancel (hope I'm not speaking too soon) is suppose to pick up the kids tonight (falls from shock) for the weekend. They are heading down south for a baseball tournament and they will be staying at a hotel with a water park. I know the kids will have a great time.

WHICH means...(quickens of breath) a whole weekend alone...(ish) with Mr.F (giddy). There are few obligations, but for the most part, we are ALONE this weekend.

Not sure WHAT we will do...

******

Mr.F asked me to help out with the anniversary party.

ME: What can I help you with for the party?

Mr.F: I'd like you to take care of the meat.

*blink*

I had to ask a few times if he was kidding. He wasn't.

Let me just say....I handled the meat quite well...as usual.

*ahem*

******

I had to turn the furnace back on last night. I have been really trying to deal with the chill in the air, but I had had enough last night when two layers of clothes and a blanket wasn't warming me up.

Dear Mother Nature,

I still love ya, but REALLY?

Waiting for warmth,
Stacie

******

Are there learning curves in relationships?

(I'd go on, but it might need it's own post...ok it WILL need it's own post)

((Don't panic, Mr.F, we're good))

*****

I want a Bud Light Lime. Just sayin.
I'd like to share one with Mother Nature, if she had her act together.
*hmph*

*****

OK, I'm going to go obsess about Mr.F's outfit for the party. I'm thinking a nice leisure suit. ;)

*****

Hope you all have a wonderfully delicious weekend!

Whoa...

Seriously, you guys....THIS is crazy...HE is crazy (about me) and it's just so wonderfully awesome...

I am posting this here...because it blows me away.

He has read my blog for a very long...probably since I've started.

It's no surprise really, most of my closest friends know about my blog.

He has never commented in the comments section, until this post.

Here is his response.

*heart beats fast*

This is "Friend".
The way you support me, the way you love me, the friendship you give to me, the way you make me laugh, the ways you make me feel important, the warmth you put in my heart, and the smile you put on my face not only on Valentines day, but every day is worth a million times more than any gift that can be delivered or put inside of a card. I thank my lucky stars for you and not only do I not feel cheated, but wonder what I did to deserve someone as wonderful as YOU!!!

I know, right????

*swoon*

He's mine ladies, MINE!

*****

The pictures from yesterday of the skating party...some of you commented on how great I look. Well, sorry to say, that's not me. That's my Mom. We went to the skating party the weekend she was here visiting.

Thank you though, she does LOOK great.

The funny thing is we really don't look that much alike, though many people think we do. I really resemble my dad's side of the family. However, my mannerisms and the way I carry myself IS totally in line with how my Mom is behaviorally.

Skating was a total blast...ya know when I wasn't holding a 125 lb buggy up from falling. By the end of the two hour skate for all, she was KINDA getting the hang of it and by the end of the two hour skate for all, my thighs and butt were screaming from helping her. It was a blast though and something I'd love to take the kids to again sometime.

When Buggy wasn't hanging on to me for life, I skated a little something like this.

Oh yes, I have moves people.

*****

Auditors will be here Monday and Tuesday, thank goodness. I dislike (very much) this time of year at work. My boss gets in such a tizzy. He really infringes on my blogging/facebooking/anything but working time.

*****

Bubba was adorable watching the Olympics last night. I almost didn't have the heart to tell him it was bedtime because he was enjoying them so much.

I did send him to bed, but recorded the snowboarding for him. :)

*****

Buggy comes home tonight, she's been gone now for almost a week. BOY do I miss her.

*****

The guy I like for Idol made it through to the top 24...hope he does well. Just for record, I like Andrew Garcia. In case he wins it all, I can say, I liked him from the get go. MMMK?

*****

I have a bet going for the Bachelor with Sissy from My Kids Might Be Martians. A bag of my favorite candy is at stake here people so THINK TINLY for me, k?

Sissy, good luck girl. Bet accepted. :) Get ready to hit that local walmart for my candy. *devilish smile*

Ok, I think that's all for me now...sorry I haven't been around too much commenting...hopefully after next week I will get my "time" back.

Randoms again...

I've opened up blogger twice today, I have nothing to write about, yet so much on my mind. Don't you hate that?

My brain can not even form a logical, coherent thought today.

Randoms usually work for me...so I'm going there AGAIN today.

Speaking of going there...I have my yearly womanly appointment today. woo-fucking-hoo. I sure can't wait to have that cold metal contraption shoved up my cootch.

I'm invited to a sex toy party this weekend. I sure can't wait to have that cold metal contraption shoved up my.... Oh wait. I don't think I'm going to the party anyway. I have my kids this weekend and I can't imagine asking anyone to babysit for me just because I want some new toys. My real (ok 2nd real) excitement for going was to see a friend that lives in southern Illinois...and now she's not cumming making the trip...so....

I went out Saturday night with a friend, the night will be forever remembered as the Margarita Debacle. I don't think I will be sipping any margaritas for a very long time...at least not until the Buffett concert. WHAT? By then I am sure my memories of THIS Margarita Debacle will be long gone by July.

Bachelor??? Anyone watching???? Fucking crazies. 'Nuff said.

The sun is shining today. :)

Bubba was discussing Martin Luther King yesterday, in his words "MLK wanted everyone to be nice to the brown people." It took me back to when he was little, we were at Red Lobster and he asked loudly why another family was BROWN and not PEACH like us.

There have been no more detailed updates from my Mom's online dating adventures...thankfully. I did tell her you all wanted more to be entertained. No. I didn't cause then I'd have to fess up to blogging, or share my blog with her and I'm not going to.

Meh. Even my randoms aren't sparking any blog material. Maybe I should join the online dating...

Brain Freeze

I haven't been able to put a real post together lately...

so I'm going random today. WOOT.

I might have mentioned before how much I hate when the office heaters are kicked into high gear, haven't I? Yesterday, when we were experiencing a temp outside of friggin -20 the heaters were blastin their hearts out causing co-worker's fishy smell to return *gag*.

I have been at work for over 2 hours now I am STILL freezing. I told her I was going to snag the heater from AP office, co-worker offered hers to me but put a disclaimer that the thing smelled. The HEATER smells...sure uh huh.

*****

I keep searching for things to copy so that I can go hold my hands over the warm copier and sing, "Chestnuts roasting on an open fire". My boss' office is close by, I think he likes my singing. I hear him giggle.

*****

So the company had to lay off people in Kansas, because of this misfortune, we aren't having a Christmas party...or getting a company gift this year. Sucks, but I agree with the decision.

Since there's no party, those of us in the office will be hosting a pot luck luncheon. If you think about it, that's a lot of money for us employees to put out, along with Christmas gifts for the bosses...wait, YEAH, we're still getting the boss' gifts...sigh. OH WELL! IT'S THE SEASON OF GIVING.

*flips the bird*

*****

Ode to snow, oldie. There isn't much snow here yet. One part of me is A-OK with that, I'm not a huge fan of snow, unless I'm sitting somewhere in front of a fire, sipping hot cocoa, or peppermint schnapps.

Really, it's not the snow that bothers me...I guess. It's the freezing temps. If it could be about 30 something with tons of snow, I might be OK with that (please note Mother Nature, don't follow through on this).

It just doesn't feel like Christmas is 14 days away, with no snow on the ground. I can't imagine how strange my Mom feels in AZ for the holidays.

Actually I talked to her about it, she said it's HILARIOUS to see Christmas decorations in the deserty yards. Yeah, I imagine so. I wouldn't mind it for one year, but I don't know if I could handle it forever.

And what the hell am I even considering, I'm not going anywhere, damn baby daddys. ;)

*****
I can't believe that LAST YEAR was our Disney trip. It feels like it was a million years ago. So much has changed since then.

*****

Only Midwest Mommy was brave enough to totally call out my uniboob in my snuggie picture, she actually said "who's under the blanket with you???" HONEY, if someone was under my blanket with me, he'd be lower ;) like below the belt lower...and my eyeballs would be rollin back into my head.

Just sayin.

****
We're putting up our tree this weekend. I have the mantle decorated and the lights around the windows, just need to complete the looks. I'm excited, but also, with all the sharing of the kids, co-parenting bullshit...it's like we don't have time for everything I want to do. It kinda sucks, but I know, I know, blah blah...I want the kids to see their dads. Meh.

Buggy is coming home Sunday morning, so Bubs and I will have the tree ready to put ornaments on. Here is a sneak peak of how things are looking so far...
More to come next week, I'm sure.

I created a playlist on www.playlist.com, did you know that Led Zepplin's song Kashmir is almost fucking nine minutes long???? For reals. That's just stupid. Love the song, but it can be cut down to about 2 minutes cause after that I get bored.

(that's what she said)

*****
I'm getting the wii for Christmas and I'm totally stoked, well, actually the KIDS are getting the wii for Christmas. I am so stoked to play WITH them, family time and all. Yay.

I can't wait.

It's going to be the best Christmas EVER!!!

*****

All the salt from the roads that is now all over my van really hides the scratched and beat up front bumper from my accident in July. WIN! (Did I ever mention my accident in July?)

Ok, that's all from me today...hope you all have a great weekend.

Wants...

Want:
To understand Twitter. Cause I don't. I mean, I know how to use it and I see the useage, but I don't see the point, for me.

The only reason I even have an account is because all the cool kids did it sometimes I want to win a giveaway and I can get an extra entry if I tweet.

Want:
I read this post title today and thought, damn, I want MY leather couch to see some action.

Action other than the hours I sit on it watching dvr'd shows...or Spongebob if my kids have any say in the matter.

But even though the cleanup would be a snap, really? Do I really want to have my children sit on that couch after I've "been" there?

Well. The cleanup would be a snap.

WANT:
Speaking of TV...anyone watch Heroes? I just started watching (so don't really ask me what the hell is going on, cause beats me) um, this dude...
HOT...and BAD....HOT.
sylar heroes

Want:
I'm sure there's some medical explaination for this, something hormone related or pheramone related, but I want to know why Aunt Flo and the want for sex go hand in hand.

Cause it's a tease, ya know, I'm single. It's not like I can roll over and tell the hubby, get a towel baby it's on.

Not that I ever did that...oh wait, this isn't Not Me Thursday is it? Damn.

Want:
To get through this damn flu season so I can stop hearing about the damn flu season. Anyone else sick of hearing about it?

Want:
To say F-U to my telephone company. Really? Assholes!
It cost ME almost $50.00 to get my phone service moved over to the new house. Except once I got my bill, they didn't change the service to MY name. So I call again, oh! It will be another $35 to have the account put in my name. SERIOUSLY?

But, I want a house phone...with the same phone number we've had and that my kids have learned. Fuckers (Telephone company, not the kids)

Want:
Now that we're a one income with a side of child support family, I've been scared about the finances. Remember I said to remind me how much I LOVED my house and the idea of owning my own when my first mortgage payment was due?

yeah. It's due. November 1st.
I still do love the house, actually more and more as the time passes...but now that I have this mortgage I need to evaluate my needs vs wants.
WE don't need a damn thing...
but wants...well...let's see:
new bed.
vacation.
new table and chairs.
vacation.

you get the point.

Well, I'm sure you WANT to get the hell out of here and stop reading my ramblings...so go forth, blog, read and have a fantastic Thursday.

-if you're going to follow me on Twitter, why would you keep your status private?
-why the hell do I care? I'm never on Twitter.
-can I say Twitter one more time? TWIT.

-On the mom situation. I know she NEEDS to go. I know it has NOTHING TO DO WITH ME.
-I'm the only reason (and my brother, I suppose) she's been here for as long as she has.
-Apparently even 50-something year olds can still act like immature children, kicking and screaming when their toy has been taken away.
-Idiots.

-I was mean to Porky yesterday, sorry bud. It's easier to be angry (snarky) than sad. I took it out on your scrawny ass; I'm sorry. I got your love package, ;) thank you.
-I ate that cheesecake too fast, feeling sick now.
-I need to get back to exercising.

-I hate the cold, but what I hate more is my co-worker blowing her heater right at her cootch making the office smell like hot fish.
-I think I just puked up a little of my cheesecake.

-I'm taking pictures for a high school senior this weekend, any tips?

-I'm attending a 60th birthday party this weekend. I might break out the heels and get gussied up.

-There is something to be said about a friend that you've had for YEARS. They are a priceless gift of knowledge about you, your family and your heart. I love you Kimmy Sue.
-It's about time I go visit her again. Perhaps for Thanksgiving again.

K, there's plenty more, but it's so snarky and mean spirited that I'm going to end this and say have a happy weekend.

Holy Conoly

Holy crap. It's Wednesday.

Time is flying at exactly the moments that I want it to...isn't that awesome?

I'm going to throw some randoms at ya today...cause there's lots going on here.

-I am closing on Peed Bush, soon to hopefully be renamed cause peeing on the bush in what is NOW OUR HOUSE'S front yard is way too hillbilly even for Bubba, (could this be the longest possible sentence, er run on and on) FRIDAY!! THIS FRIDAY YO.

-This Friday's closing will mark the first home I've purchased ALL.BY.MYSELF!!

-Immediately following closing, I'm picking up the kids and we are just going to go sit in our house, because we can and it's ours. I will not say forsure, but there might be dancing. House buying makes me feel like dancing. Disco style.

-Saturday morning I have a truck lined up to get the things from stepdad's over to Peed Bush. I hope to work most of the day moving things into the house. Setting up beds is first on list.

-Cable company will be there to hook up cable sometime in their rude FOUR hour window time frame. So after the priority of beds, I'd like to get a TV in. It will be a righteous bachelor pad at that point, right? Bed and TV (with remote). Nice.

-Bubba has a game on Saturday, right smack dab in the middle of the day. Lovely. Why did we sign up for Fall ball again? Whateves.

-Sunday (Sunday, Sunday) because I'm crazy and cheap, we will be throwing my daughter's NINETH birthday party AT.THE.HOUSE. It will save me $65 that I was going to spend on renting a pavilion at a local park. The question is, will it give me a $65 headache? It's just a family and friend's party, so they love us enough to not care if there's no couch to sit on yet, right?

-"family" is italicized for a reason... I'm going to see how the party goes and get back to you on that topic. *hint-check back on TOTALLY TICKED OFF TUESDAY*

-But not on the 9/29 cause I will be on vacation...and I have no home computer, therefore, there will PROBABLY not be any posts here next week...unless I sneak some cyber time from someone.

-I thought about having guest posters, ie; madness posers, but I don't like the pressure of BEING a guest poster, not that I've been asked really before, but yeah. Hey can YOU post on my blog and be funny. I FREEZE. I forget what funny is, or what is funny to me.

So anyway...that's what I have for today...super busy here at work trying to prepare for my week off...hope you all are well.

You talkin' 'bout me?

I was talked about, I was talked about...

****

on to other things.
I'm going random today. Bare with me.

-my hair drives me nuts.

-Buggy says I have orange hair. I do not. She also asked me if I didn't dye my hair what color would it be. I haven't dyed my hair in about a year, I think. She couldn't understand why then it is still orange. *sigh* My hair is NOT ORANGE.

-the pants I have on today have a side zipper that I keep forgetting to zip. Can you say hello white love handle hangin out for co-workers to see?

-I twisted my ankle like a month ago. I'm a clutz. It's still not completely right. It is especially moody when I wear my heels.

-Why is it always OK for me to miss work for these house inspections and such? STBE will not/cannot miss work. It's irritating.

-Thank goodness I have a job that I can miss some time.

-The house passed (mostly) inspections except for the foundation. YIPES. Yesterday I had one quote to fix, not sure how much yet...the buyers are having their guys out tomorrow morning.

-I'm hungry. I only have soup for lunch today boo. It's only 11:30.

-I feel a little guilty about how much I blog about my Bubba...as if Buggy doesn't say and do funny things. Bubba is just much more over the top, Buggy is more reserved and quieter.

-I am still totally psyched about my girls night in ONE WEEK. Woot.

-I've been loving this cd lately.

-I want to meet some fellow bloggers....and I hope to as (i just typed ass) soon as all this house stuff is settled and the kids and I are moved into a new place.

-I saw The Ugly Truth this past weekend, it was ONE of the ways I treated myself (even though all you dirty minded people wanted to think that I treated myself to myself or to someone else) Pervs!

-I love going to the movies, even if I am sitting at a "date" movie by myself.

-It's the second "date" movie (first one was The Proposal) I've taken myself too. (See how good I am to me. Awe, I heart me.)

-There was another loner at the movie, but he was old...and ugly...even in the dark.

-That wasn't nice of me.

-I did run out of popcorn midway through the movie. I didn't want to miss anything to get a refill, so I looked his way to see if I could have some of his...I quickly looked back at the screen in fear that he thought I was checking him out.

-The movie was pretty predictable, but there was ONE part that literally made me scream out in giggles.

-Anyway, I think that's it. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

Random...

I'm walking...and anything you can give for the cause, would be AWESOME.
click the button, that is now plaster on my page...see over on the left?

Awesome PJ giveaway on Fairy Blog Mother. I love jammies, especially ones that are soft and pretty.
*****************************************************

Other randomness...
My Mom's divorce is ugly. I hate divorce, it affects everyone, but sure wish mine was over. She has to move out in 30 days, but seeing as she wants to spend 6 months here and 6 months in Arizona she doesn't want to sign a year lease anywhere.

I have a spare bedroom. Do you see where this is going? She wants to know what I would charge for her to live with me. It's not what I would charge, but what can we gain or lose from the situation.

On the fence with both aspects. She asked me to think about it.

*******************************************************
Buggy has her first camp out for Brownies this weekend. She's so excited and I'm excited for her. MMMM, smores.
*******************************************************
The handy man here at work snarled something when he passed my door shaking a plunger in my direction. I didn't do it.

This time.
*******************************************************
Ever since I downloaded the Tweet Deck, I've drooled over Donnie Klang's updates. I just want to sex tweet him, but I stumble over the keyboard to come up with something other than....hi. hottie. Then I start drooling and the keyboard frizzes out. Try explaining that to the IT guy. Um, it was the coffee, yeah, that's what happened to my keyboard.
*********************************************************
That's all folks, hope you all have a great weekend.

*Sing it with me*

I feel pissy
Oh so pissy.

In random list and order.

1) Still no F*&^*(^& call from my lawyer...

2) Hubby heard from HIS lawyer with what appears to be child support amounts. To which he replied, "I'm getting screwed" when he should say "whatever it takes to help support my child"

*deep breath*

3) Damn Aunt Flo makes her pending arrival hell for two weeks before she shows.

4) The refried black beans I am having for lunch clogged the sink and will later clog the...well you know.

5) Snow is in the forecast...AGAIN. *Shakes fist at Midwest weather*

6) House has been on the market since Saturday...no calls. It hasn't been that long I know, but I thought for sure, out of curiosity, SOMEONE would call for a showing. Nada.

Things I'm not pissy about...

1) My mom made it home safely Wednesday night!

2) Bubba has his first (for this season) t-ball practice this weekend.

3) We are meeting with Buggy's softball team at pizza place (no cooking for me tonight)!

4) Today is Friday and I finished Eclipse last night so I have a fresh weekend to start Breaking Dawn.

5) Some of the tulip bulbs I planted last fall are finally starting to come up, still haven't seen daffodils but I'm hopeful.

6) I got a card in the mail from Gwen @ Everything I like Causes Cancer...and it will be great blog material, when I am feeling less pissy.

There! 6 things that are making me pissy and 6 things that are not making me pissy. It is so much harder to come up (that's what he said) with the non pissy items.

Hope you all have a non pissy weekend.
Stay Warm, it is SPRING after all *bewildered look*

Who knew-Etiquette from Stacie's Madness

Alternate title. Sharing is Caring.

This article was on my yahoo home page...I clicked it and thought, YES!!! BIG UP to the foxy girls who wrote it. Here are a couple of my favorites from the list (the whole list is good though, check it out)

Just tryin to help you out; you're welcome.

Party Poopers When you receive an invitation to a dinner or party--whether by Evite, voicemail, or casual email--RESPOND. Yeah, that’s what that little “RSVP” thing means. Everyone knows it, yet it’s amazing how many don’t respond. Even for weddings! Planning a party or event requires a lot of work, so do the host a simple favor and let them know if you're coming or not.

FOR REAL...this is a HUGE PET PEEVE of mine. Actually we have a couple that we have been friends with for a long time. We have STOPPED sending them invites to things...1) they never show up and 2) they never call to say if they aren't showing up. IN FACT, the man will lead you to believe they are coming but never fully commit to them being there...and then, they don't show. It is so annoying. Now? The party is mentioned, if they are interested they will come, if not, I didn't waste money on a stamp.

At my first wedding, my uncle thought it would be funny to R.S.V.P. 14 people. I thought he was serious, he has a big family, children, their partners, their kids...etc. SO, I marked him down for 14. The asshole, my lovely uncle, came with his wife only. TWO PEOPLE. Seriously? Seriously.

The Pee & Flee Public bathrooms get used by everyone -- yup, they're public! So, making a mess of the toilet seat, and then prancing out without bothering to wipe it up -- not cool. Leaving a mess for the next visitor is completely unacceptable (and disgustingly unsanitary, of course). Take 10 seconds to rip off a piece of toilet paper, toilet seat cover, or a paper towel, and do your due diligence!

I'd also like to extend this rule to the home as well. If ya tickle on the seat, wipe it up, for the love of Pete. (ha, that totally rhymed) ((and who is Pete anyway))

There is nothing worse then waking up in the morning, groggily walking to the bathroom, eyes still filled with sleep, drop troll and sit to a wet seat.

Also (TMI) seriously! I shave so I KNOW those pubes aren't mine, clean it up!!

Moving on. OH wait. NO...we aren't cause Mommy from the Midwest is having a giveaway...and well, if you want to pee like a man, go see what she has in store for you. I really am embarrassed to admit that I want this for public restrooms (yet, ironically totally not embarrassed to announce my "pube-landscaping")...and if I win it, it sure will make for good blogging fun. LOL!! Woot HOLLA.
